i have a foot wide opening vent that runs the width of the new greenhouse that has two thin, but long, window openings. i kept thinking how great they would look with stained glass in them.
i google imaged rock n roll stained glass and found a few great images. i borrowed a few, took some liberties with colors and arranged them into two sort of long collage things. i printed them on my ink jet printer onto transparent full sheet labels.
i have been collecting plexiglass, and fresnel lenses, from old projection TVs. usually, a projection TV will have 3 sheets of thin plastic. a clear sheet, a tinted sheet, and a fresnel lens sheet. i have about 8 sets of the 3 in various sizes.
i used a rip saw to cut 4 sheets of plastic (2 clear & 2 fresnel) to fit the spaces. i applied the printed labels to the fresnel lenses, and then covered them with 3 coats of polyurythane. then i glued the clear plastic over them to protect the labels. the clear plastic side will go inside, and the fresnel outside. the fresnels are about 3/16 thick.
a fresnel lens is a sort of beefed up magnifying glass. you could use one to focus the power of the sun, the way you would with a regular magnifying glass, and a fresnel will become a sort of high power laser beam. i have been told they can melt a rock. using them as i am, they magnify the colors of the printed windows. they look almost like the colors glow.
i don't have them up in the windows yet. i am actually a little afraid that they might focus the power of the sun in the way i will have them on the roof of greenhouse.

According to the Bible, sex is to be reserved for marriage. Period.
So, yes, oral sex is a sin if done before or outside of marriage.

i don't know that it is accurate to say that. we can say things like "proverbs tell us, or paul says, or the commandments warn against.." but general sweeping statements like "according to the bible" really do NOT apply to anything but the most general sweeping statements. we could say "according to the bible, god loves us" pretty safely. but imagining other sweeping biblical directives which are only briefly mentioned is only self dellusion.
secondly, the bible NEVER clearly says that sex is to be reserved for marriage. (Period). it is NOT a commandment. it IS suggested in the epistles, and it IS godly, but there are NO hard and fast commandments against oral sex, or even against non-marital sex if neither person is married.
there ARE a few dozen commandments about sex. very clear.
no adultery. no homo. no father's lover. no brother sister. etc. NO non-married is NOT one of them. why would god not mention that?
it is really masterful the way you tie all of your incorrect nonsense up at the end as if it somehow proves your ridiculous claim.
the sky is blue so everything in the sky must be blue.
if 4 + 4 = 6, then 6 + 6 = 8.
this is more than just being stupid. you are telling LIES about god. don't be doing that.

the puppy will be here next week, i have been getting ready.
i am finishing up the doggie toilet that i posted about before. it had been in my ever growing collection of half finished half baked projects. i cleaned out my pool and moved it, so i have the room for it.
i have to take hobbes and get her shots and her nails clipped, and i have to get a backpack carrier. this is him, and his mother and father. his father's name is boss, and he is really gentle.

i just put a deposit down on a new bandogge puppy.
it is a mastiff/pitt bull, and both the parents have papers. calvin was supposed to be a bandogge too, but there were no papers. my always used to say he wasn't mastiff.
this guy is surely purebred. i met both of his parents and they are really good dogs. the puppy is really laid back for a puppy. that is the mastiff. but i got him to play a little bit and he is TOO cute.
i can't decide if i will name him calvin.

chicago cops are completely out of control. i got pulled over again today for no reason. i was on my way to the doctor again and going through that same area, so it might be thier routine. the guy was not as much of a jerk as the guy the other day, he ran my license and let me go.
unless i am mistaken, i think police have to have a reason to pull you over? i am tired of this abuse. i really enjoyed playing sick to that punk cop the other day, and i got some satisfaction out of getting him in trouble.
i have decided to take it up a knotch. i don't have a license because the state made a mistake, and then made about 50 more mistakes. i have the written promises of SCORES of high ranking city traffic officials with clout apologizing for the mistakes, as well as the whole documentation trail of what has all happened. it is a PILE of paperwork.but when i get pulled over, cops never want to deal with it. they are also usually not into ticking off the clout. i never get a ticket, so it is working for me.
however, they tend to get angry about being impotent and can get verbally abusive like that punk the other day. they almost ALWAYS will hold me up for a long time while they decide what to do. so i have decided to take offensive action.
i have printed up a copy of the following letter that i will hand a cop when pulled over. there is a printed scanned copy of my (valid) drivers license on the other side.

i have posted about this subject before, but it seems we need to review.
according to MY understanding of the message of christ, we should NEVER iggy or block or ban another christians.
jesus taught us to forgive and love each other, and never to judge, or to twist and turn god's laws to aggressively gain power over others. those who point to the letter of the law and use their own narrow understandings to punish and demean others are pharisees. we are to follow the SPIRIT of the law which teaches us to forgive those who offend us. if your enemy kicks you in the butt, turn the other cheek.
i bring this up because i have had to block sojo and 4nk8 from this blog, and it really upsets me. it is against my beliefs. but they are hurting me and i have to do it for self defense.

well, for all practical pourposes. there are still a KABILLION things i need to resecure and tweak. i am going to make a few faux stain glass pieces for various openings. and i am going to stain all the weather treated 2 x 4's a shade of american chestnut miniwax.
hopefully, it is mostly waterproof. it is supposed to rain next week. i will go up there during the rain and see.i am sure it will need some impromtu patching, i have a cov er on the entrance hatch that can keep drips out of the garage and it doesn't matter if the greenhouse gets a few drips.
man. i worked ALL day yesterday. i am SO sore. i am too old for this crap. oh well. the hard work is done. it is just putzing around and tinkering now. that is the kind of stuff i LOVE.
i'm not sure when, or what, i will start growing. any input?

i got pulled over this morning from a punk in an unmarked squad (narc car) that didn't look old enough to drink. i think he thought he had a druggee because of my car (89 chevy with many dents) and then he just was trying to be a tough guy and scare me or something.
he was like one of the guys out of 21 jump street. he was wearing camoflauge sweat pants, a bullet proof fence, and the EXTRA large batman type police utility belt with TWO guns. he kept his hands on both the guns while he yelled at me.
i told him i was disabled and that his screaming was causing the lesions in my brain from my ms to bite me and i held my head and screamed "owwwwww" every time he raised his voice. he was REALLY getting pissed, but i just played old and sick. he knew i was playing him, but there was nothing he could do.
i didn't break any laws and after he ran my car and background and didn't get anything, he had to let me go. he told me that if i couldn't take being yelled at i shouldn't drive a car. i told him 'ok, you gonna be my personal taxi?' and he raised his voice again and i did the "owwwwwww" thing again.
then he said "grow up" and walked away.
NO. i will NOT grow up. i got this far, i might as well stay as as jesus suggests. i reported this guy 10 ways till tuesday.
i called 911, i called the station he drives out of, i stopped a couple of cops going into dunkin donuts and told on him. they knew who he was and they laughed when i called him rambo. i found a city site where i could file an official complaint, and i did.
screw me once and i will screw you eternity.
that punk is going to rue the day he messed with me.

we now have karaoke.
the friday nite open mic has been slow, so i am tryiing to appeal to a wider audience. i bought a few karaoke disks on ebay, and it turns out i can display the lyrics onto the large screen TV that faces the stage.
i am learning that karaoke files use something called cd+g,or mp3g, and there is another kind of file too. so i am ripping all this stuff to hard drive so that i will have a big selection. a lot of the christian stock music is available free online in mp3g too, and i downloaded a few hundred of them. i ordered a few more karaoke disks on ebay, they don't seem to be really covetted items, they are pretty cheap.
so now, a victi...i mean visitor can look up songs on a laptop and choose one. they can even play guitar or whatever along with karaoke songs too. it is sad, but i get more than a few people that just want to sing praise songs. if i get them all on karaoke, i can make them happy.
i have a half a dozen guitars on hand, 2 electric pianos, electric drums, a bass, bongos, tamberines, harmonicas and even an electric air guitar. now we have karaoke. beverages and munchies are free, and i have a HUGE selection. i usually order pizza too. i have been resisting getting video games.
