I have had so much joy developing my new line of Christian jewelry.
My Jesus Cameos are really going like hot cakes.
So, I am trying to make as many as I can in lots of colors and styles.
People from all over are requesting samples, so hopefully I will build a good customer base.
It is also my hope to send some to my friends who do ministry work in Africa.
Thanks to those of you who have offered encouragement and prayers.

Things that make you go Hmmmmmmm

So, Chris and I were having our usual cup of tea this morning and we were discussing this new jewelry line I have started that is taking off like a rocket. I am making hand carved cameos of Jesus and wrapping them in gold to make the most lovely pendants.
I considered aloud whether I should add some carved stone crucifixes to my new line of Christian jewelry.
Chris had a thought provoking response.
He said, if I was violently murdered and the coroner came and took pictures of me with a knife in my chest and put the framed photo of my death over the mantle would that be acceptable?
I thought about it for a minute, and realized the victory was not in the brutal death of Jesus and that if we really want to celebrate what was accomplished through His death we would all be wearing an icon of an empty tomb.
Just a thought.
