Just wondering something ...,
If wicked people and those who love continually to do evil get thrown into hell, then wouldn't that be like a heaven to them?

Martha or Mary?

Are you a Martha or a Mary?

I used to be a Martha, concerned for details. As I have grown older I have stopped stressing over the little things and learned to relax.

I can work hard when hard work is necessary, but for the most part dust bunnies and unevenly baked cakes don't get to me anymore.

I don't mind leaving the dishes to soak instead of scrubbing them the second they get used; or hanging around in my grubbies when I know I will just be hanging around alone.

Now some people would view this as I am just getting lazy because I won't slave myself as hard as they do.

I don't think trying to relax and enjoy life rather than always striving for a sterile environment is so bad.

At one point in my life I used to get bent out of shape over every little jot and tittle, now, tidy is nice.

Just thought I would get your opinion on the matter.

Oh, yeah, here is the story of Mary and Martha so you can understand what I am referring to:

Luke 10:38 Now it came to pass, as they went, that he entered into a certain village: and a certain woman named Martha received him into her house. 39 And she had a sister called Mary, which also sat at Jesus' feet, and heard his word. 40 But Martha was cumbered about much serving, and came to him, and said, Lord, dost thou not care that my sister hath left me to serve alone? bid her therefore that she help me. 41 And Jesus answered and said unto her, Martha, Martha, thou art careful and troubled about many things: 42 But one thing is needful: and Mary hath chosen that good part, which shall not be taken away from her.

The Wisdom of Solomon

Throughout my life I have prayed to be blessed with more wisdom than Solomon. I prayed for understanding. The Book of the Wisdom of Solomon was included as canon in the Bible until nearly a hundred years ago and was omitted due to printing costs. I love reading the Wisdom of Solomon and so some of my very favorite verses come from this book of the Bible.

For it is always in Gods power to show great strength and who can withstand the might of His arm?

11:23 For you are merciful to all, for you can do all things, and you overlook people's sin, so that they might repent.
24: For you love all things that exist, and detest none of the things that you have made, for you would not have made anything if you had hated it.
25 How would anything have endured if you had not willed it? Or how could anything not called forth by you have been preserved?
26 You spare all things, for they are yours, O Lord, you who love the living.
12:1 For your immortal spirit is in all things.
2 Therefore you correct little by little those who trespass, and you remind and warn them of the things through which they sin, so that they may be freed from wickedness and put their trust in you, O Lord.

Haven't we all one Father? Hasn't one God created us all? Why then do we show partiality or become faithless towards others?

He Went About

Jesus went about teaching and preaching and healing the lost and delivering them from condemnation.
This foreshadowed what He will do also in the last days; namely deliver the lost sheep from moral death, open their eyes to know Him and their lips to praise Him so that they may find rest in their souls.

Where Can I Go?

Where can I go to flee from God's presence?
If I ascend into heaven He is there,

if I make my bed in hell He is there.
If I take flight to the outermost reaches of the sea
even there His hand will hold me fast.
The darkness is not dark to Him,
the night is as bright as the day.
