Father

Haven't we all one Father? Hasn't one God created us all? Why then do we show partiality or become faithless towards others?

No, Jesus says we do not all have the same father.
This is Jesus speaking.

John 8:44 Ye are of your father the devil, and the lusts of your father ye will do. He was a murderer from the beginning, and abode not in the truth, because there is no truth in him. When he speaketh a lie, he speaketh of his own: for he is a liar, and the father of it.

John 8:47 He that is of God heareth God's words: ye therefore hear them not, because ye are not of God.

the verse I quoted was from Malachi.

But the plain meaning of many of the passages of the Bible underline the fact that God is Father of all creation. You may not agree that God created the world and everyone in it, but I do believe this emphatically that each person in God's creation has a place in God's heart and plans. None of us were born of fornication or adultery. God even created the devil.

The scripture you quoted is Jesus' reply as a challenge to the spirit of pride of the Jews who believed they are of pure descent which automatically made them worthy of salvation; it was a response to the Jews who claimed a pure descent and salvation by works, but their actions of not loving all mankind betrayed their claims to paternity. So it is the very ones who claimed to be "of God" were the very ones who did not know God, in fact they crucified our Lord and hated and resisted His reversal of their pride filled outward form of godliness and selfish selective invitation of "Come to me, you who are clean and worthy" and replaced it with His own cry of, "Come to me, you who are down and trodden by life."

And just take a look at the scripture that follows, the same Jews that Jesus was trying to rebuke actually accuse Him of having a demon.

We also see in countless scriptures that God is the Father of all. Jesus died for all and unto Him was given all things.

tit 1:15 To the pure all things are pure, to those who are defiled unbelieving nothing is pure.

Num 14:21 But as truly as I live, all the earth shall be filled with the glory of the LORD.

Rom 14:11 For it is written, As I live, saith the Lord, every knee shall bow to me, and every tongue shall confess He is God.

Phl 2:11 every tongue shall confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.

Oh sister, I don't deny that God is creator of all for He is.

John 1:3 All things were made by Him; and without Him was not any thing made that was made.

I'm just saying He is not Father to all.

John 1:12 But as many as received Him, to them gave He power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on His name:

John 8:38 I speak that which I have seen with My Father: and ye do that which ye have seen with your father.

Romans 8:14 For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, they are the sons of God.

Love ya' sister.

1John 3:10 In this the children of God are manifest, and the children of the devil: whosoever doeth not righteousness is not of God, neither he that loveth not his brother.

Sister Liz you know I love you and always will.
At one time we were not come to the fulness of the knowledge of Christ and at that time we could not claim God as our Father; in that respect we were once children of the devil. That scripture applied to both of us at one time, Good news is that we were adopted into God's family by grace. Just because someone hasn't come to the knowledge of Christ at this time is not to say that they cannot or will not. God is in control, it is His will that none shall perish but all shall come to knowledge of Him and I don't think anything can overcome God's purpose or will, not even our own will can step outside the boundaries of God's purpose.
We now walk by faith not by sight. Knowing full well that God is able to accomplish what He wills. The scriptures tell us not to ask who will ascend or descend, that we should love even our enemies, and also that we should not judge another because it is before their master they will stand or fall and God is fully capable of making them stand. I believe with all my heart that God can take those who love not their brother, carry them through experiences that teach them what God needs them to know in order to come to Christ and so eventually show them love and adopt them into the family of God. I would be doing my faith a great diservice to believe for anything less than complete and total victory. He saved me and grafted me in, and so with God all things are possible. The least shall be the greatest and the last shall be first. God is able.
Remember, I still love you.
