Consistent flippancy

Flippant: 1. showing inappropriate levity
2. being disrespectful
3. shallow

Consistent: 1. capable of being reproduced
2. marked by an orderly, logical, and aesthetically consistent relation of parts
3. the same throughout in structure or composition

In my time here I have seen the winds change direction ferociously. View some blogs and the chat room and you'll see the perfect description of flippancy and inconsistency......I wonder: Are these flippant individuals who attack each other in one breath and then in the next praise and idolize each other simply flippant or is there more to it?? Perhaps deception??When I have met in prisons and institutions for the criminally insane the consistency of even the severe multiple polar individuals hasn't compared to some of the behaviors and characters here.......What gives? Why the game playing? Why the facades? Do you know if you're coming or going? Do you know whom you really worship??

Take your stance: Be righteous and honest or live foolishly as Satan would want.

You cannot drink the cup of the Lord and the cup of demons too; you cannot have a part in both the Lord's table and the table of demons. (1st Corinthians 10:21)

Simply a conspiracy theory?

A conspiracy theory explains an event as being the result of an alleged plot by a covert group or organization or, more broadly, the idea that important political, social or economic events are the products of secret plots that are largely unknown to the general public.

I ventured into the chat room for the first time last night...I wanted to see what it was like and I awaited the meeting of some bloggers.......It wasn't long after my arrival in the chat room that I was accused of being other chatters. This went on for awhile and rationalization kicked in...or so I believe.....Admist the belief that I was other chatters and was using 'Exodus24' to pursue people -I was informed that deception happens very frequently in BC- there were some women claiming to be 'happily married' while hitting on me. Naturally I was appalled and said so,,,to which I was called vulgar names......When I left the chat room I thought that the accusations toward me were blown out of proportion and unjustified....Then I see some old bloggers under new handles up to trouble -ie. asking for old chatters that were banned to return.

On a regular basis I prosecute criminals. Some of them harassed and stalked people online. I understand that people are leery of new chatters with all of the deception. However I question there being a fine line between paranoia and conspiracy. And if the leery ones are really the perpetrators under numerous guises...

Katherine K. Young states "(t)he fact remains, however, that not all conspiracies are imagined by paranoids. Historians show that every real conspiracy has had at least four characteristic features: groups, not isolated individuals; illegal or sinister aims, not ones that would benefit society as a whole; orchestrated acts, not a series of spontaneous and haphazard ones; and secret planning, not public discussion."

The term "conspiracy theory" is itself the object of a type of conspiracy theory, which argues that those using the term are manipulating their audience to disregard the topic under discussion, either in a deliberate attempt to conceal the truth, or as dupes of more deliberate conspirators.

In the criminal justice system, actual conspiracies and conspiracy theories can also be distinguished by scale, as actual conspiracies are usually small in scale and involve "a single event or issue."[20]

The shallow end of the pool

'Shallow men believe in luck. Strong men believe in cause and effect.' Ralph Waldo Emerson

People's behavior toward physically attractive people still amazes me to a degree. Have your opinions about someone changed because of their appearance???

'Either you decide to stay in the shallow end of the pool or you go out in the ocean.' Christopher Reeve

[Warning: If you talk to shallow people enough you'll become one.]

Indignant Contempt

Disregarding something that should be taken into account: Posting cunning blogs about people suggesting that they need correction instead of correcting personal behavior.

While the people's names are not listed it is quite clear that the writer suffers from indignation.

Writing indignant blogs about multiple people day after day is contemptuous....It is not righteous indignation like God had......God determines the wrath that we bear...

Beloved, never avenge yourselves, but leave it to the wrath of God, for it is written, “Vengeance is mine, I will repay, says the Lord.” (Romans 12:19)

Not understanding the Christian principles and the Bible is one thing....mocking it is another.....This is what a blogger said about Christianity....How would you react??

'Trinity schminity, lol, like that matters...Judaism and Christianity are pratically on the same level: focused on emotional words and not the Word of Life (the forest for the tree kind of thing) LOL. '
