Share you're FAV, PLZ!

What's your favorite Bible passage?
I love them all so very much that if I try to priortize and pick just one, it can be frustrating. It's difficult to choose only one and eliminate others.

My selection doesn't mean that any other scripture verses are less important. I am posting one that always makes me feel grateful.

Therefore, I just picked a meaningful Bible verse that says a whole lot in just a few words: "For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten that whosoever believes in Him will not perish, but have everlasing life."
John 3:16

Thanks for visitng my blog. Please take the time to post a Bible verse before you go

No need to write the words of a passage. Just leave the book, chapter, and verse where I can read it in the Good Book His Word is my inspiration and sustenance.

Hallelujah!

God bless ya real good, today!

You know I find that my favourite verses regularly change - I guess that's because my life changes and I change and God, being wonderfully faithful to me, changes the verses that are speaking to me to meet where me where I'm at! My current one, mmmm, actually it's one that came to me before Christmas, but I still think it's great... Ephesians 3: 14-21

When I think of the wisdom and scope of God's plan, I fall to my knees and pray to the Father, the Creator of everything in heaven and on earth. I pray that from his glorious, unlimited resources he will give you mighty inner strength through his Holy Spirit. And I pray that Christ will be more and more at home in your hearts as you trust in him. May your roots go down deep into the soil of God's marvellous love. And may you have the power to understand, as all God's people should, how wide, how long, how high, and how deep his love really is. May you experience the love of Christ, though it is so great you will never fully understand it. Then you will be filled with the fullness of life and power that comes from God. Now glory be to God! By his mighty power at work within us, he is able to accomplish infinitely more than we would ever dare to ask or hope. May he be given glory in the church and in Christ Jesus forever and ever through endless ages. Amen.

Philippians 4:19 (NIV) - "And my God will meet all your needs according to his glorious riches in Christ Jesus."

This gives me GREAT comfort. To know that God will take care of me and my needs is a place to rest.

God bless.

Jeremiah 29:11 - I know the plans I have for you....
This gives me such hope for the future - God's got a plan for me. His plan. I'm not in control, He is. I can rest in His plan.

Hi Don!
I agree with previous posts in that my favorite changes frequently depending on what's going on in my life....much the same as not just hearing one piece of advice that my earthly father used to give me. HOWEVER I guess I do sort of claim Psalms 40:1-3 as my so called "Life Verse" because it proves to me that no matter how far I go or how deep in it I may be, it is never so far that my Savior can't pull my back and wash me clean.....He has pulled me from the muck and the mire, and I can't even express how thankful I am to Him.
Blessings Brother!
