trials are god's disciplin

i been watching james McDonald on walk in the word lately and he had a real good take on why we go thru trials.

god disciplines all his with trials. he says if you don't have trials iin your life, then you should be worried.

i have gotten SO close with god thru this trial, that i don't really want it to end and lose touch with him again.

he can be brutally truthful sometimes, but he is VERY biblical. he convicts me of my actions many times to where I can't lie to mysel

james mcd has been talking about people who ignore what trials are saying to them. he says you can harden your heart to god and develop a bitter root. a person can become profane to god.

Trials are there also so we can comfort another, how can we relate to someone unless we've been through 'stuff' ourselves? Kind of takes our eyes of ourselves a bit that does. There's a fellowship of suffering.

Jesus came and suffered so we would be comforted, how could we, especially as His followers expect to escape trials also?

Someone has at the end of their posts a little tag Helen Keller quote, "How could we learn to be patient and brave if there were only joy in the world." Interesting.....

God bless you in your walk.

Judgement Day will be interesting.

I didn't mean to be all negative. that is what pastor mcD is preaching about. there is much joy in being a child of god, and even in being disciplined by him.
