Shy and quiet until I trust a person then the Italian genes kick in (see below) and then you may wish I never learned to trust you ! Prefer one-on-one outings/conversations rather than groups/parties. Need the calming peace of the mountains and the sea regularly but can get by with a simulated ocean sound machine between excursions. Hate snow / love rain. Am currently taking care of my parents in their home so that they can stay here for the duration of their lives with God's help.

My Ideal Person
Just looking for a kindred spirit, some one who loves God and speaks with Him daily not just when things go wrong. Nice if they like to fish, I just took a flyfishing class but don't yet have the hang of it & usually end up frustrated & go back to by trusty spinning rod 'n reel and good 'ol Balls O' Fire salmon eggs. Best if you love dogs - happiness is a passel of puppies in my book. Standard activities like hiking, gardening, browsing craft faires are enjoyable. Travel is the best - have been to Italy a number of times (am of Italian/Polish heritage, i.e., just slap me alongside the head if you want me to stop talking .)
