Looking for born again men of integrity and high morals to become best friends first. // My friends would say I have a very shy personality until you get to know me, and then am quiet when in a large group. Am told I am strong, persevering. I love a sense of humor and wit. When I believe strongly about something, I will stick to my principles. I believe God put each of us here for a reason, and that is to come to know Him through faith in His and to bring honor and praise to Him. My faith has been stretched and tested and would hope that I have more than a "baby faith" and have more substance. I ask the Lord for His wisdom and guidance in the little things as well as huge things in my everyday life. In my leisure time I like to read, needle work, good movies, etc., seasonally I like gardening. I enjoy watching most sports, even football, rodeo riding, and tractor pulls, harness racing, car racing (not on TV esp), just to name a few. I also like to go to outdoor craft festivals, visit historical places, etc. especially in the Fall. Enjoy the Spring and Fall months the most. Fall foliage is food for the eyes. I have 2 , ages 15,18 who live with me FT. Have been home schooling since 2000/2001. What do I like to do on a date? It's been so long since I've done something like this. Sports activity, dining out, movie, concert, whatever would be of interest to both. I enjoy a wide range of music, especially like some southern gospel, inspirational, celtic, country, some oldies. I am a strong conservative politically. Like listening to Rush Limbaugh and Sean Hannity as talk show hosts. Like to discuss current events occasionally.
I have been a member of my church for 17 yrs. Am active in helping with the 2-5 yr olds; currently trying to start a usable church library. Prefer living in the country over city life.
My Ideal Person
Someone who is a born again believer, in that they have accepted Christ as personal saviour and are growing in their relationship to Him. Weekly church attender, hopefully a member of a church that believes in virgin birth, inspired entire word of God, trinity. One who is willing to share ups & downs of life with each other (life can be very complex and confusing w/o someone to help share the load)and be in the center of the Lord's will. Would be a spiritual leader. One who shows me how much I am needed and accepted for who and what I am--even when I fail. One who can give and receive feed back on issues. Looking for a guy who is dedicated to a life-time marriage relationship and willing to work at resolving conflicts as they arise. Looking for a guy with high morals, ethical standards; faithful, trust worthy; can provide emotional and financial security. Would be protective of his love for the Lord first, me, and family. Would have to be attracted to his appearance, personal attire. Am NOT looking for "divorced", "separated," or "other." ONLY "never marrieds or widowers" need respond. Sorry, but I believe anything less is not blessed by the Lord.
