I bet you've read through a lot of profiles by now and everyone says just about the same thing. "I'm nice, fun-loving, love to laugh, genuine Christian." So what makes me different? Well, I'm all those things plus more: Every Sunday night I throw out tootsie rolls to a large group of middle school students. I once had a volunteer at a zoo ask me to tell him how monkeys are different from human beings. He debated every difference I pointed out. Did you know that apparently we have just as many hair folicles as monkeys? On my bookshelf, I have a piece of a building from a city that was once covered in ash. I once painted my hair gold for a hallowween costume and after trying shampoo, eggs, and every form of soap I owned, had to use rubbing alcohol to get the paint out- moral of the story- bever paint your hair!! My Ideal Person
In a movie I saw not too long ago a guy asks this married woman what the point of marriage is and she replies, "So that you have a witness to your life." I loved that answer because I think the friendship and intimacy shared in marriage is something so special. It is so amazing to think of someone who has seen all your good and bad moments and has loved and stuck with you through it all.
I'm hoping to find that friend- someone who is genuinely committed to following Christ. It's also important that they would support me in ministry. Besides that, just an easy going, romantic, mature guy would be great!
