I am 46, widowed for 8 years and divorce, but he's now also deceased. I have a (23),a (18) and a -in-law and granddaughter. I was raised on a farm. I like to cook, if I have time, but I also like to eat out. I like sushi!! The eel is the best. LOL I really am NOT a high maintainence person. I am most comfortable in jeans and t-shirt, but I do clean up pretty well, too. :)
Selah means to pause and reflect. I was pausing to reflect on the chaos that was in my life. I soon realized that chaos was my own creating and I returned to follow Christ regardless of what was happening to me. I followed Him right into a recovery group!

My Ideal Person
God knows best, but I hope he finds me a kind, compassionate man that is not afraid to show me that he loves and cares for me. I also want him to truely love the Lord so that we can grow together in Him.
Please describe your faith. How important is your faith to you?
I have had many times when I questioned my faith. And I still do...such as "Am I certain that this is GOD's will?" or "Am I being truthful with myself?" or "What would Jesus do if He were right beside me today?". I feel that I am not where I need to be spiritually, but I am working on it.
Which Scripture verses are most important to you?
In hard times, I often think of what Mother Teresa said,"God promised not to give us more than we can bear, but I wish He didn't trust me so much."
