My Ideal Person
What I am looking for . . . hmm, good question! I haven't made up a blue-print of what I want in a man, but there are a few things I have found I need. I need a man who is strong in his faith - I don't want to drag someone to church, and who is comfortable being the spiritual head of the house. I need someone who is slow to anger, and not a heavy drinker. I lead a very busy life right now, so this person would have to be patient with me. I want a man who has goals, and who is working towards those goals. I can't come up with anything else right now!

Please describe your faith. How important is your faith to you?
My faith is extremely important to me. I believe in the Trinity, that the only way to heaven is through salvation, that the Bible is written the way God means it - not up for interpretation. "There is one body and one Spirit, just as you were called in one hope of your calling; one Lord, one faith, one baptism; one God and Father of all, who is above all, and through all, and in you all." Ephesians 4:4-6

Which Scripture verses are most important to you?
Psalm 27:14 "Wait patiently for the Lord. Be brave and courageous. Yes, wait patiently for the Lord." Reminds me to be patient, that God has a plan for me. Exodus 14:14 "The Lord will fight for you; you need only to be still." I don't need to worry. Proverbs 3:5-6 "Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways aknowledge Him, and he will make your paths straight." Trust God, he knows what is best for me.

Why is a Christian relationship so important to you?
My faith is very important to me. I think it would be hard for me to have a long-term relationship with a non-believer because my faith is a way of life for me. I trust in God and pray when making decisions. I need someone who approaches life's decisions and speed bumps the same way.

Where did you grow up? Where have you traveled? What are some of your favorite places to visit?
I have grown up in Colorado. I have travelled to many states, and even France, but all before I got out of high school. I don't remember a lot of the places I saw. I recently saw Pennsylvania and New York - that was awesome!

What are your favorite activities both at Church and outside?
I go to church weekly for both the service and Sunday school. I go to a singles class. I enjoy doing pretty much anything, as long as it isn't sitting at home all the time. With school, I really don't have a lot of free time. Some of my recent activities include taking the kids and dog to Chatfield reservoir for a hike and swimming; going to Erie to watch the races (fast cars!); and going to see the Royal Gorge.

What is your day like? Describe your daily routine.
Easy ~ get up and get the kids ready, meet my sister at the gym to exercise, go to work, pick up the kids, make dinner and try to clean house, kids into bed, then homework. Ugh!
