I have been divorced for three years. I'm looking for friends who I can share my interests with. I am currently involved in a long-distance relationship, however it is not "serious" at this point. It's been about 10 years since I last went on a "date," so I am a little out of practice. My main concern is meeting new people my age and learning how to have fun again.
My Ideal Person
Everyone who wants to get married, should take that oportunity at least once in thier lifetime... For me, once was enough! At this point in my life, I am not looking for marriage. I came out of a bad relationship and am not looking for a repeat performance. I am looking for a good friend, someone I can talk to and share my feelings with. If I do find the right person, we can discuss the possibility of having a family together (much) later. I'm just not ready for that yet.

Please describe your faith. How important is your faith to you?
I am confident in my faith-- I know what I believe, but I'm not one to force that onto others. Nor will I put up with others shoving their beliefs st me.
Which Scripture verses are most important to you?
John 10:10-- Look it up.
Why is a Christian relationship so important to you?
I am looking for a man who is willing to grow with me spiritually and to raise our children in a Godly home. I don't want to attend church alone and hope that he's not teaching my kids bad morals when I'm not looking.
Where did you grow up? Where have you traveled? What are some of your favorite places to visit?
I grew up in a rural community in western Oklahoma. As a kid we took lots of family vacations, but my favorite places were always Grandma's house of camping at the lake.
What are your favorite activities both at Church and outside?
I like art shows, craft fairs, street festivals, anything of that nature. I like to go to the movies, but I don't get to go that often. I don't like to skate or go dancing. I tolerate bowling, because I'm bad at it, but will show up to enjoy everyone else's company.
What is your day like? Describe your daily routine.
I get up early, take my daughter to school. Then I go to work, come home in the evening, have supper, and crash in front of the computer for a couple of hours. When I get tired, I go to bed. Rinse and repeat. I have no social life. Until recently, I spent most of my free time with my family (parents, grandmas, kid, aunts and uncles). I am trying to find a church with a singles group or at least a group of people my age. For the last couple of months, I have been involved in a long-distance relationship, however, unless his situation changes, that's all it'll be is long-distance. I am looking for friends closer to home. After all, who wants to drive 4 hours to go out to dinner once a week?
What are some of your personal and spiritual goals?
Tough question--- I'll answer it later.
