I am a 24 year old country girl, born and raised right here in NC. I am an EMT, and I am currently a student in nursing school. I love to run, listen to music, ride around on sunny days with the top off the car, read, and just have a good time. I am a little bit on the silly side, but I can be serious when I have to be. I drive a car that looks fast (and it goes fast sometimes because my right foot is much heavier than my left one, isn't that weird?), but I try not to drive like a maniac all the time. I love street vendor hot dogs, hot wings, candy corn, and Maple Blondies from Applebee's. Oh yeah, and I do like healthy food too, it's just not all that fun to talk about how much I love carrots and celery.... AKA freekatnow- YAAHOOO!

Please describe your faith. How important is your faith to you?
Faith is everything. I cannot believe that I chose to live in darkness for a time in my life. I had no purpose or no hope. I thought I could buy happiness or find it in a bottle. Now that God has brought me back home I can see that I was playing with fire (with 3rd degree burns!). I know that I was broken before the Lord and He wants to use me to help others.

Which Scripture verses are most important to you?
Proverbs 40:2 "He lifted me out of the pit of dispair, out of the mud and the mire. He set my feet on solid ground and steadied me as I walked along."

Why is a Christian relationship so important to you?
It is the only way a relationship will work. God has to be in control.

Where did you grow up? Where have you traveled? What are some of your favorite places to visit?
Grew up right here in NC. Mostly the Charlotte-Concord area. I have visited most of the Southern states. I have been on an airplane once, and hope to fly again someday (even tho it is a big fear). I love the mountains and the beach.

What are your favorite activities both at Church and outside?
I love plays and concerts.

What is your day like? Describe your daily routine.
I go to school some days. I am there atleast 4 hours if not more. Some days I have clinical and spend 8 or more at the hospital. Some days I'm off, so I spend time running, playing with my puppy, or reading. I try to go to bed early but it never works out....

What are some of your personal and spiritual goals?
I want to get back to the spiritual point I was at before I made poor decisions in college. I want to feel the Lord with me at all times, and I want Him to use me. I want to be in His will, and I would like a family centered in Christ.
