I am looking for someone who can make me laugh, and who appreciates a true woman. // I generally talk a lot so it is funny to me that I am stymied when it comes to writing something about myself. I suppose I am well versed when it comes to talking to and about other things and people, just not when it comes to talking about myself. I am serious when necessary, laugh a lot even if I don't really get the joke, am extremely loyal and a dedicated christian woman. I have quite a variety of interests and am up for learning new things. I love to travel, the beach, am a gourmet cook and a confessed sci-fi 'nut'. I do not need someone who is a mirror image of myself, but someone who is secure in himself.

My Ideal Person
I believe in a biblically based relationship where the man is the head of the household as a spiritual leader. I desire a dedicated, and committed christian partner.

Please describe your faith. How important is your faith to you?
Nothing is more important than my relationship with Jesus Christ, my Lord and Savior.

Which Scripture verses are most important to you?
I love Job. When God say "Where were you when I laid the foundation of the world.........." it just sends chills down my spine. Sort of sums up so many things. His majesty, his power, and yet his mercy and compassion since he is capable of commanding the oceans and the sun yet he still wants me! Astonishing.

Why is a Christian relationship so important to you?
What an interesting question. The alternative - darkness - well, it just does not seem like much of one to me.

Where did you grow up? Where have you traveled? What are some of your favorite places to visit?
Grew up in Africa.

What are your favorite activities both at Church and outside?
I love my weekly Bible study and prayer group.

What is your day like? Describe your daily routine.
I go to work around 8:30 am and get home around 6-7 pm. I have late days on Mon & Thurs otherwise, I try to leave on time (though not always successfully). Because I am single I do a variety of different things during the week. Sometimes I go out to dinner with a friend, oftenbtimes have people over for dinner on the weekends,and prayer meeting on Wed nights. I think like most people some weeks are chock full of activities and other weeks are pretty hum drum.
