I've lived in Barron County now for almost 3 years and am looking to find some additional Christian friends or even that special person that God has in store for me.
My Ideal Person
My Christian walk has been a bit bumpy but I've put myself on a smoother path by seeking to spend more quiet time with God and trusting Him to get me through life's difficulties. I'm looking for friends that are supportive of one another in their everyday Christian life. In the past year/so, I've made some good friends through my church and I'm hoping that any new friends I meet here will be interested in growing more in the Lord and His Word.

Please describe your faith. How important is your faith to you?
I grew up in a Christian home and accepted Christ as my Saviour when I was 9. Since then, I have stumbled and gotten back up a few times. I feel good now that I've gotten myself involved in my local church and made some new Christian friends.
Which Scripture verses are most important to you?
The entire Chapter of Psalms 139.
Why is a Christian relationship so important to you?
Knowing that God has the ultimate control in this world is so overwhelming. His incredible love and faithfulness is all that really matters in this world and it's a concept that I'll be continuing to learn and trust for my entire life.
Where did you grow up? Where have you traveled? What are some of your favorite places to visit?
Home town: Montello, WI. Have traveled all over the U.S. Foreign travel: England, Scotland, Ireland, France, Belgium, Mexico, Canada, Argentina, Ukraine, Netherlands & airports in Brazil & Chile :)
My Argentina trip was a great faith building experience for me. I was totally alone for almost two weeks and hardly spoke any Spanish; at times I found myself in situations that were frightening but I could feel God's presence and faithfulness throughout. My recent trip to Ukraine also taught me a lot about placing my trust and happiness in God and not in the comfort of friends.
What are your favorite activities both at Church and outside?
In my home church (Buffalo Community Bible Church), I used to lead the music worship, play piano (not very well, though), and do a lot of special music. Now it seems that I only sing about once a year, when I'm home for Christmas.
I enjoy the home team I've gotten involved in through church. Although most of the participants are married and younger than myself, it's great to be able to study, question, and discuss things with Christians that understand and aren't legalistic about things.
What is your day like? Describe your daily routine.
I'm not a morning person! I tend to get to work around 8:30 am. I generally work until about 5 pm and often have meetings/events in the evening and on weekends.
When home, I generally relax, play with the dogs, read the news on the internet, do some yard work or sit down with a good book. I will also sometimes veg out in front of the TV, watching HGTV, TLC, or FoxNews/CNN.
What are some of your personal and spiritual goals?
Improve my devotional time and Christian walk.
Accepting my life as God's Will for me.
Widen my circle of friends.
Learn to balance my work life better/try not to stress out so much.
Do better at picking my battles on issues at work.
