My Ideal Person
I'm looking for someone who is willing to take it slow in developing a relationship. I've suffered some major hurt, which I'm learning to forgive while still keeping my boundaries intact, and I also have to look first at the needs of my kids. Their needs come before mine.
I like going out on dates and meeting new people, but my real reason for being on the site is to establish a friendship, long-term relationship or possibly a marriage relationship, and I'm looking for someone with the same goal.
When it comes to physical health, I exercise a little (most of it comes in the form of chasing and playing with my kids and daily stair climbing) and expect my potential mates to be at about the same fitness level or greater. I like my dates to be assertive in decisions while still respecting my wants and desires.

My feelings on children are... well, I love kids. I have two and if Mr. Right were to come around I might consider having another one or two if he wants kids of his own. Children are a blessing!
I like my date to be a cultured, adventurous, modern and romantic person. I like to go off-roading but I also like to go to the local dinner theatre. Basically I like well-rounded men who can adapt to just about anything but who are willing to make the first move. The people I tend to be attracted to are gentle and kind as well as funny. I like a goal oriented man who knows what he wants out of life.
I tend to be a little shy at first in person, so I know there's chemistry between my date and I if I feel like I can open up and talk freely about almost anything.
