Please describe your faith. How important is your faith to you?
It is my life. It is hard to understand that Jesus loved me so much to die for me, but he did. I do not know where I would be without him. He has taken me through some tough times and blessed my greatly.
Which Scripture verses are most important to you?
Ephesians 2:8,9--For by grace you have been saved through faith, and that not of yourselves; it is the gift of God, not of works, lest anyone should boast.--Bottomline it is about him, not me. If it was about me, I would be in serious trouble.
Why is a Christian relationship so important to you?
That is what it is all about. Without Christ, I am nothing. I cannot even imagine what people do that do not know him. Life is tough and he is my rock to guide me through it.
Where did you grow up? Where have you traveled? What are some of your favorite places to visit?
I grew up in Oregon. I have visited most of the states except Alaska and Hawaii. I have visited Norway, Sweden, Denmark and Finland. My favorite place to visit is where I grew up--Central Oregon.
What are your favorite activities both at Church and outside?
Favorite activities--going for a walk, being with my children, going to church and seeing my church family, being around other people.
What is your day like? Describe your daily routine.
Go to the gym to work out, go to work, come home, fix dinner for my kids, read and watch some TV (if there is not somewhere we are suppose to go).
What are some of your personal and spiritual goals?
My spiritual goal is to keep getting to know God better and to become more Christ-like with his help. Personally--I want to get physically in shape. Due to some tough years mentally and physically I let myself go. But after changing my life and having surgery, I am determined to get in shape and keep in shape the rest of my life.
