Profile for america153
Looking for a man of God desires with his whole heart to please Christ. // Hello, I am a 25 year old young lady who loves the Lord with all of her heart and wants to walk in Crist's ways. I believe that the Bible is our complete guide for living. I live with my family and operate a music stuido out of our home teaching about 35 ren a week. I want to honor the Lord, my father (while I am single) and when I marry I will want to honor my husband by being fulfilling the example of the Proverbs 31 homemaker. PS If you are truly interested and think we are headed in the same direction in life, please write and don't send winks. Thanks Also, please attach your profile as I can't read it unless you do. :-) I am not a member here yet.

My Ideal Person
I am looking for a man who would like a family and who desires to homeschool his future children. He should also have a Biblical perspective on the roles of husband and wife. I am looking for a man who believes that "culture is religion externalized." He should firmly desire to mold his life around the Scriptures and what they teach rather than our culture which molds most Christian's lives and hearts. I am also praying for someone who has remained pure while waiting for the Lord to bring his life partner. Another requirement is that the man be from the US or Canada. Please don't write if you are from another country.*****Below I have pasted a question/answer column from another site I was on called the "Christian Cafe." This should give you a very good overall view of who I am and where I am headed. God Bless!*****Describe the type of relationship you are looking for. What qualities would you like in this relationship or person?*****
Type of relationship......................My purpose for being on the site is to see if God would use it to bring my life partner. I would like to meet my very best friend who shares my love for Christ and passion for raising a godly family so that together we can leave a legacy behind us that will count for Christ.

John Piper writes, "I will tell you what a tragedy is. I will show you how to waste your life. Consider the story from Reader's Digest of the couple who took early retirement and moved to Florida where they cruise, play softball and collect shells. Picture them before Christ at the great day of judgment saying, "Lord, Lord. See my shells." That is a tragedy! The wasted life is the life without a passion. We need to make little of ourselves and our pleasures, and to make much of God in every part of our lives."*****Many people feel the call of God on their lives to be missionaries in foreign countries and that is wonderful, but I know that God has given me a desire to be a Proverbs 31 woman and put every ounce of energy that God has given me into raising up a godly generation. I want to be a missionary to my future children.*****Qualities I would like..............The very most important is a sincere love for Christ and a desire to strive towards living out their faith on a daily basis as Christ molds their life. Denomination is not important, but the fear of the Lord in a man's life is a necessity. He must have his heart turned towards Christ and away from the things of the world and anything that could lead him away from Christ. He must continually guard his heart. Jeremiah 17:9 The heart is deceitful above all things, and desperately wicked: who can know it?*****Someone who is open to learning.................. I know that I have not arrived and will be learning until I die. I am always open to learning new things from Scripture. I would like a future husband who enjoys talking about the things of God and likes to study the Scriptures. If either of us have something to share with each other I would like for us both to be open to what God would have to say. A future husband must receive his guidance from the Bible and not tradition, culture or doing something just because he thinks it works, or that by God's grace it worked ok for him while he grew up. I want to live a life that is based on God's word. I have seen the rich blessings that come from living in such a manner. I have also seen the devastation from a family who does the opposite.*****As for personality, I prefer someone light hearted and maybe even comical.*****Describe a little of your personality and character traits. (Are you funny, laid back, more serious, open, shy, etc.?)*****I love to laugh................................ no I should say I adore laughing! "Laughter is the singing of the angels." I don't consider myself funny, but I am pleasant and always smiling. I have so much to smile about! My mother says that I was an easy child to raise. I am not willful and I am quite easy going. The only time I tense up is when it is recital time for my music studio. I am very organized and I want everything to be professional. The studio productions air on television and I want everything to be as professional as possible. I always strive towards excellence. If something doesn't come out perfect I am not one to worry about it though. I just learn from it and try harder the next time.*****Describe your Christian faith. Where are you at and what are your goals? What Scripture verses are important to you?*****I always long to grow closer to the Lord and each day is another blessed opportunity. I enjoy reading the Scriptures as they help reveal my true heart and help me to know my Saviour's heart better. I was saved at the age of 5 years old, but I did not have a sincere desire for a relationship with Christ until I was around 17 years old. By God's grace I was given parents that protected me from the world and kept me on the straight and narrow during my youth.

Two of my favorite Scriptures are

Deuteronomy 6 And thou shalt teach them diligently unto thy children, and shalt talk of them when thou sittest in thine house, and when thou walkest by the way, and when thou liest down, and when thou risest up.

Malachi 4:6 And he shall turn the heart of the fathers to the children, and the heart of the children to their fathers, lest I come and smite the earth with a curse.*****What would be the perfect setting for a first meeting with a new friend or date? Describe it ******If I were meeting someone on this site, I would want to be in the presence of my family.*****What are your favorite activities? (Including sports, leisure, artistic/musical, etc.)******I love music and I love to play the piano. I have been playing piano since I was 7. I can also play a few songs on my violin, but nothing great. I love gardening............I planted 4000 bulbs last fall and I should have flowers most of the summer as they will all bloom at different times. I love my Chihuahua and I make him some very stylish coats that he loves. He is the sweetest companion.******I confess that I am not into other sports, except taking walks in the countryside. Oh! except I think one sport that would be a lot of fun is to one day live along a deep river and have a big tire swing hanging from one of the trees to jump into the water. Now that would be a fun sport! I love to cook and bake anything. I am very creative when it comes to domestic skills. I adore sewing and recently made six of my little piano students party dresses for an outing we went on June 4th. I love to organize recitals and events for my students. I love to put on themed recitals. Last year we presented an Irish recital. This year we will be playing all of the Strauss waltzes. The girls will wear pink ball gowns for their performances and the boys have decided they want pink dress shirts to match the girl's dresses. I can't wait to begin putting plans into action next week. The recital is scheduled for Dec 18th.*****I don't watch television because the majority does not glorify God. Oh.........and I find the news depressing. My sister reads the news on the Internet each day and can't wait to tell me the latest. I really wish she wouldn't. I will be going along and having a very peaceful morning and then she tells me something horrible that has just happened. I suppose it's good to be aware of what is going on, but I can't say I enjoy it.*****As for videos I do enjoy some of the black and white classics. I also like the A&E productions of Pride and Prejudice, Sense and Sensibility, Emma and Mansfield park. Then there are the old Disney movies with Haley Mills that are a favorite....................of course Anne of Avonlea and I like many of the Hallmark Hall of Fame videos. I don't really watch many videos though. If I have time I might watch one a week. Oh! and I forgot Jerry Lewis films. (His OLD ones.) Sometimes after a long day it is so much fun to sit and laugh at all his antics. My sister is very comical too. Sometimes I don't even need Jery Lewis to entertain, she keeps me laughing constantly and can imitate almost anyone.*****Describe your current occupation. Do you like what you do? What is your dream job?*****I operate a music studio in my home and teach about 35 children ages 4 - 15 each week. I do love it and I am thankful that God has blessed me with a talent that enables me to remain at home while I pursue what I enjoy. My dream job would be to be a wife and mother and put all of the energy I have into my children. I hope to use all of the skills I am now developing when I have my own children. I would like my children to be musical. It would be fun to have a home school orchestra and I have always hoped that my children could form a harp "choir." Oh! and I want all of my children to tap dance too! Like Shirley Temple, except the girls would wear longer dresses. I know I will have a lot of energy when it comes to my future children. I have lots of big plans that I hope my husband would enthusiastically join in on. *****
Where did you go to school (i.e. high school or college/university, etc.)? What did you study? Did you like it? Would you like to do more?*****
I was home schooled through high school and I believe it was the best thing my parents ever did for me. I did not do well in regular "Christian" school as I could never be my real self. I was much shyer when I was younger and was always worried about what the other kids were thinking. I believe %100 that parents are to train their own children according to the Scriptures. I would never give the privilege of training my children to an outsider. My sister and I have talked about sharing home school responsibilities in the future, but never to send the children out of the family.*****Where were you born? Have you ever traveled? If so, where? What is your ideal adventure?******I was born and raised in NH. I have traveled around New England, Pennsylvania and I have been to Charleston SC. I have also traveled a little in Canada. Someday I would love to visit New Foundland and the Mediterranean. I have always wanted to see the white stucco homes with the bright blue water as a back drop.******I have never been in a romantic relationship and have kept myself pure for my future husband. I am praying for the same in a future life partner. I do not date for the sake of pleasure, but believe in courtship. I would like my family involved in the most important decision I will ever make. (after Salvation of course)******Is there anything else you would like to add? This is your chance to get in that last (but not least bit of important info that you would like others to know.
If you think that we are headed in the same or similar direction I would enjoy hearing from you. Please write and tell me about your vision for a future Godly family.
