My name is Samantha and I am new to this sort of thing. I am very interested in other people. I seem shy at first but it is only because I like to get to know you well before opening up completely. I love to laugh and make others smile. I like talking for hours about books, movies or just different ideas. I don't believe in playing the kind of games that I've seen some of my friends do as far as relationships go. I'm a good listener and I love helping others.
My Ideal Person
I am looking for a christian man who is kind, considerate and can make me laugh. I would like someone I can grow with spiritualy and believe in. I would like someone that is honest and genuinely cares about the people around him. I am looking for a life long companion that I can grow old with, but if the lord doesn't have that in mind for me right now, I will settle for a life-long friendship. (btw did anyone else notice that marriage is spelled wrong?..lol)
Please describe your faith. How important is your faith to you?
I consider myself a new christian, I was saved a little over a year ago but I'm learning new things every day. I'm not where I would like to be with God right now, I really need to work on spending more time alone with him, but I'm growing!
Which Scripture verses are most important to you?
1 Corinthians 13 (The whole chapter is amazing!)
Romans 8:39
Romans 12:9
John 3:16
Why is a Christian relationship so important to you?
Somewhere where you can talk and get to know one another.
Where did you grow up? Where have you traveled? What are some of your favorite places to visit?
I grew up in a medium to large town in west texas. I haven't traveled much, to my dismay, I have been to England/Scotland and now I live in Oklahoma.
What are your favorite activities both at Church and outside?
I love to sing, read, write and watch movies or theatre. By the way I would like to explain that on the question about religon, the role it plays in my life. I put significant because church is important, but not as important as God. See what I"m saying. Religion and God are two different things, one is a a way of life and the other a way to life.
What is your day like? Describe your daily routine.
My current occupation is that of a receptionist. A standard day for me includes getting up, going to work, hanging out with friends and going to bed. I know, not very exciting. :)
What are some of your personal and spiritual goals?
1. Give my life completely to God. Everytime I think I've given everything I can, he shows me there is more.
2. Live my life to the fullest and when I look back being proud of my actions and decisions. 3. Sharing my faith with as many people as possible.
