My Ideal Person
A best friend, a partner, someone who likes to laugh and does so often. I'm looking for someone who knows that God is the third person in our relationship and will put Him first in it.

Please describe your faith. How important is your faith to you?
I was raised in a Christian home and went to Christian schools all my life, but it has only been in the last few years that I have claimed my faith as my own. Every day I find that God has new things to show me and new challenges for me to overcome.

Which Scripture verses are most important to you?
Nehemiah 6:9, Hosea 6:3, Micah 6:8, Psalm 121, John 12:24-28, Romans 8:15

Why is a Christian relationship so important to you?
I believe that God is in every moment of my day, in everything that I do. I cannot imagine being in a relationship where I could not share the most important thing in my life with my partner.

Where did you grow up? Where have you traveled? What are some of your favorite places to visit?
I grew up on the East Coast and still live here--though a bit farther north. I have traveled quite a bit in Europe, particularly Eastern Europe. But my favorite place was probably Ireland--the picture in my profile was taken at Carrick-a-Rede in Northern Ireland, a spot that is simply breathtaking in person.

What are your favorite activities both at Church and outside?
In church, I like Bible studies and working with children. Outside of church, I like to read, write, travel, and do anything involving music. I also love the ocean.

What is your day like? Describe your daily routine.
On weekdays I go to work around ten and on a normal day I work until about six. After work I usually go out with friends or to a cafe to read or write. I am usually home by ten or so, and I like to read for a while before going to sleep.

What are some of your personal and spiritual goals?
Personally, I would like to finish my master's degree and maybe teach. Spiritually, I want to know God more each day.
