I am a joyful Christian woman. I work with computers and computer users at work, but enjoy the arts (and crafts) in my free time. I am basically a homebody. I read and study God's Word. I like listening to music and I like the outdoors in moderate doses. I like campfires and toasted marshmallows, the wind in my hair and the sound of the waves crashing on the shore (or a river flowing over the rocks).
My Ideal Person
I am looking for a joyful Christian man who doesn't take himself or life too seriously, but seeks the Lord's will in all things. I'm looking for someone honest, caring, articulate and easygoing; someone secure and happy. Someone who can laugh and maybe even someone who likes toasted marshmallows. Someone equally comfortable watching football or reading a book or carrying on a conversation.

Please describe your faith. How important is your faith to you?
I am a new/old Christian. By that I mean that I became a Christian when I was in High School, but I let myself be drawn away for a while. A long while. I came back to the Lord about six years ago and am convinced that nothing could tear me away again.
Which Scripture verses are most important to you?
Jeremiah 29:11-13; Proverbs 3:5-6
Why is a Christian relationship so important to you?
It's what God expects for me. His will is the light that leads me forward. I gotta do what His Book says to do. No hedging.
Where did you grow up? Where have you traveled? What are some of your favorite places to visit?
I grew up all along the West coast as far north as Seattle. I moved to Florida in my 30's and then to Arizona, where I live now, in my 40's. I have been to Australia (I have relatives there), Samoa and Hawaii. I miss the NW (Washington state), but am very content to live in the desert SW.
What are your favorite activities both at Church and outside?
In church, I like celebration music, Bible study, and using my creative skills to help with the worship services. At home I study the Word, read, paint and create. Sometimes I get together with friends for a video fest (complete with popcorn and maybe pizza).
What is your day like? Describe your daily routine.
My job title is "Information Technology Training Coordinator" and what that really means is that if a piece of equipment that is used where I work has a computer chip in it, I teach someone how to use it to do their job. In addition, I have just started doing some web design. My day varies depending on if I have classes to teach or not. I tell you all about it when we meet.
What are some of your personal and spiritual goals?
This part of my life is "Under Construction". Please pardon the clutter.
