I am a very serious, ,kind, humorous, beautiful, strong courageous woman of God whose pain and hardships have been translated into passion and purpose . I like to have fun. I enjoy making people laugh, but I take life, living, and the work God has given me seriously.
My Ideal Person
Very important message. Read this carefully. As Christians, we have forgotten, or rather overlooked that Jesus started a revolution. He challenged the political and religious powers of His time. He not only had the humanitarian side to His ministry, but also the social justice. He called into question the oppressive government. With scathing rebukes He confronted the authorities of the the church. His was a practical religion. We know that Jesus is coming back and the world is going to get worse. This knowledge should not be translated into lethargy, a religious stupor or even what I call motion without movement. People are suffering under the oppression of Global powers and as Adventist Christians we sit back and watch. Yes, we are involved in evangelism. True, we are in the forefront when it comes to humanitarian efforts. But what about creating a new paradigm? A paradigm in which the people that we serve will be so empowered that they won't"need" us again. A paradigm in which sustainable solutions to poverty, illiteracy, clean drinking water, ghettos, HIV/AIDS etc are offered. God has called us to greater things. We are to prepare a people that will be fit for the kingdom. We are called to prepare a people that will live in the last days, a time when dependence on outside sources for sustanence will not be an option. This does not mean we are to evangelize them to death. How can I tell a women who has no land rights in Sub-Sahara Africa who lives in the slums and has to sell her body to feed her kids that she needs to repent. Christ met the needs of the people before He said come and follow me. Think on these things. Think about what your contribution to the well-being of your fellow sister and brethren will be. Think about the works of Christ and pray that His perfect purpose for your life will be be fulfilled. Hence, I would like to develop a deep friendship with a person that shares the same passion for Christ that I do. I need a spiritually, socially, politically cognizant man. A man that has a humanitarian heart who makes Christianity practical. A man whose soul resonates with the wonderful words of scripture: Seek justice, Relieve the oppressed, judge the fatherless, plead for the widow.
