Salutations friends! I've never been one for beating around the proverbial bush, and we both know why we're here, so I'm gonna jump right in.
I have been described as a spit-fire because I am full of energy. My work as an RN is very important to me, as I find it deeply rewarding to be able to make an immediate and positive impact on someone's life at a time when they are feeling vulnerable. I am two classes away from completing a bachelor of science degree, and thus I am busy, busy, busy. But, I am not too busy to play. I love football (college and pro), college hockey, and March Madness is always a blast. I must be snuggled and cuddled. Cold fish need not apply. I enjoy making dinner at home, sharing a bottle of wine, and catching a movie. I like to go out, but I'm no party animal. I am deeply spiritual and intellectual. You will find that I like to delve deeply into current trends and events and debate how they overtly and covertly influence and reflect the social values of contemporary society.
I am 34 years old, and it has always been my belief that we are what we value. I value my relationships above all else, and believe that one's relationship with their intimate partner is and ought to be sacred. That being said, I am not into casual relationships. Relationships take time and energy to nourish and maintain, and I am worthy of a committed relationship based on mutual respect, trust, and shared values...and so are you. I have done the hard work to identify my spiritual weaknesses, and I have spent considerable time rectifying them. "One should not expect to get love if they have no love to give." Now, I am truly ready to give and recieve true love.

My Ideal Person
I'm looking for a man who is interested in pursuing a committed relationship. I want someone who understands that every woman deserves to feel special, and every man should be a king in someone's eyes (read this carefully, I mean it). I find myself increasingly at odds with a society that would have us believe that relationships based soley and petty gamesmanship are fun and exciting...THEY'RE NOT! I want and deserve someone who will cherish me and is open to the possibility of falling in love. If scraps of yourself are all you want to give of yourself, look elsewhere. I want someone to call my own, and I should not be made to feel ridiculous for not wanting to share.

Please describe your faith. How important is your faith to you?
I am deeply spiritual, but I am not dogmatic. I think the bible (new testament) is an excellent blueprint for how to live a good life. If we all took more advice from the great philosophers, we might not have so many broken relationships and hearts in our world.
Why is a Christian relationship so important to you?
I like the Christian model for relationships because I have tried other ways, and they simply don't work. The Christian way is nothing mysterious, but it is grand and glorious. It simply stresses more of others and less of me. It stresses faith, hope, love, tolerance, and putting the needs of others in front of our own. The Christian way in relationships stresses the joy and specialness of love. Love is not something to be derided, or taken for granted. It is a unique and glorious thing, and it leaves us fullfilled like nothing else can. True love endures forever in the Christian teaching.
What are some of your personal and spiritual goals?
I want to finish my degree (two classes left), and find someone to share the rest of my life with in a loving, respectful relationship. I want to find my special someone.
