I have a strong sense of humor & love to make others laugh.
I am not 'moody' but am easy to read - so I'm FORCED to be honest about my feelings (or anything else, for that matter!)
I'm optimistic and trusting, and make friends easily. I can be sympathetic without drowning in others' sorrows.
I love to learn new things, and to discuss a variety of topics. I don't care for empty chatter, though (from me OR to me - ha ha)
I like to have goals and plans, but realize things can change which require adjustment and review.
I am passionate about my ideals, tend to enjoy life and want to share that enjoyment with another.
I am supportive, and don't get bogged down when the going gets tough in a relationship.
I play the piano and digital keyboard - and sing (but without a 'solo quality' voice, more's the pity).
I know how to 'smell the roses' and live life in the moment.
That's a lot of sentences that begin with 'I' -- and I'm not as self-centered as this makes me seem. Only trying to let you know who I am.
My Ideal Person
I'm looking for a man who: is smart, has a good sense of humor, is financially responsible, and will love me.
(My brother says that last is the deal-breaker. I'm rather sure he was kidding, so I let him live...
It would be fun to share an interest in music, but I look forward to enjoying the company of someone who enjoys my company, whatever interests we may pursue.

Please describe your faith. How important is your faith to you?
I have a very easy-going and personal relationship with God. I talk to Him as if He is right in the room - or above it. Sometimes in the worst times of my life I've yelled at Him. Then apologized, and knew that He forgave me. Sometimes I tell Him how much I need some strength - and He's always arranged things so I get what I need.
Which Scripture verses are most important to you?
1 Thessalonians 4:11-12 "Make it your ambition to lead a quiet life, to mind your own business and to work with your hands, just as we told you so that your daily life may win the respect of outsiders and so that you will not be dependent on anybody.
Why is a Christian relationship so important to you?
Because whoever I love here on earth I want to know again in Heaven.
Where did you grow up? Where have you traveled? What are some of your favorite places to visit?
I grew up in Oregon, Arizona, spent jr-sr high school in Idaho. Lived in Portland, Seattle, LA, and then 18 yrs in Juneau before coming to a tiny town in Washington (where there was SUNshine!).
I've been to Mexico & Hawaii twice, Canada several times.
I've traveled a bit of the west, not much back east except D.C., New Orleans, and Florida.
What are your favorite activities both at Church and outside?
Singing, at church. I belong to our county's search-and-rescue organization and enjoy those volunteer efforts. I have a Ham radio license & manage the radios & computer on searches/events.
What is your day like? Describe your daily routine.
I grab a quick bite, if I'm hungry. Then take a 1-2 mile walk with my dog. Come back & check my email and contacts online. Work on whatever project needs attention, or do some chores. Once a week or so I go to town and run errands. After lunch I read a bit and play music for a while. Take another walk or do something physical outside. Fix a snack for dinner, turn on TV, and go online again.
What are some of your personal and spiritual goals?
I would like to ensure that I'm living the life I should, the one that God has in mind for me. I read the Bible, and understand a lot - but the current world events seem like the End Times are near and I don't want to be caught without oil in my lamp.
