I don't really like to talk about myself much, but, oh well, here goes. I'm new to the Greensboro area. I moved here to take an RN position at a local hospital. I love what I do, and I'm very thankful that God gave me my passion and my calling early in life. Nursing isn't just a job or a paycheck to me. Don't get me wrong--the job security and money is real nice and all--but taking care of people is the best job in the world. Oh, I'm starting to ramble. I tend to ramble when I get on the subject of nursing. Anyway, back to me, I guess. I like Greensboro pretty good so far, but it's a big city compared to where I'm from. I get a little nervous sometimes, being in a new city that's so much bigger than home, but I'm looking forward to new experiences and to making some new friends. I was born again at 16, baptized at 19, and I'm not really associated with a particular denomination. I just believe in my God and I know He believes in me. I wouldn't be sitting here today if it weren't for Him and I would be nothing without Him in my life. My life philosophy is the same as my blood type--B Positive! Okay, I know that was cheezy, but I laugh at my own jokes! My favorite quote is by Eleanor Roosevelt-- "The future belongs to those who believe in the beauty of their dreams." I think people are more important than things-- I mean that I'm blessed to have a wonderful family and great friends, not fancy jewelry and an expensive car. My hobbies are cooking, reading, and traveling. My pet peeves are ignorance, prejudice, and intolerance... oh and smoking too. :)

My Ideal Person
Right now, I'm basically just looking to meet new friends in the Greensboro area. Specifically, friends who have similar spiritual feelings to my own.
As far as relationships/marriage goes, I want to get married and have children one day, but I'm not in a rush.
The Bible says, "When a man finds a wife, he finds a good thing..."; so I'm just believing that my husband-to-be is out there looking for me. I'm sure that he'll find me in good time.
