My Ideal Person
right now, i'm looking for a good Christian friend. someone that i can talk to, share my ideas, and discuss theology with. if a friendship were to progress to the next level, it would be with a man who is mature, responsible, loves kids, is completely honest with himself and with me, and who is dedicated to living his life for Christ alone.

Please describe your faith. How important is your faith to you?
my faith is more important than my life. i strive each and every day to live for Jesus as much as my feeble earthly body will allow me. i cannot wait until i get to heaven and can praise God all the time, for the rest of eternity. it'll be great!

Which Scripture verses are most important to you?
i really love the whole Bible, but there are certain scriptures that mean more to me than others. all of romans, esp. the 12th chapter. all of james. philippians 1:21, colossians 3, ah, there are more, probably too many to list.

Why is a Christian relationship so important to you?
because it is the only relationship built on true love (God's) and absolute truth. also, it states very clearly that we should not be unequally yoked.

Where did you grow up? Where have you traveled? What are some of your favorite places to visit?
i grew up in a little town in ct, pretty boring. i've been in just about every state in the eastern part of the us, plus arizona and california. i've also been to venezuela and bolivia. i loved arizona, california, venezuela and bolivia, and hope to travel outside the us more, esp. to spanish-speaking countries. i don't, however, think that God is going to move me outside of ct anytime soon, but you never know...

What are your favorite activities both at Church and outside?
anything with kids usually tops my list. my son, or kids from church, any age, i just love it. i work with the youth group and in the nursery at my church. i also love to be outdoors whenever it's sunny out and i can. i love to go rock climbing (indoors for now!), or to just run around and play sports outside. i also love to dance.

What is your day like? Describe your daily routine.
i get up, get my son and i ready, take him to school, go to work. after work, depending on the day, i'll pick up my son and we'll run errands, go home and have dinner, then to bed, or i'll go to class. we're pretty busy, most of the time.

What are some of your personal and spiritual goals?
my spiritual goals are to grow closer to God every day, read the Bible in one year (i'm getting myself psyched for january), and pray more, esp. for unsaved friends/acquaintances. my personal goals are, in general, to remarry, have more kids, and finish college (not necessarily in that order; i'm leaving the timing up to God).
