I'm am a fun-loving, cheerful, active person who prefers not to take anything seriously. I'm not particularly fond of drawn-out dinners or other "non-activites" that require sitting for long periods. I still work fulltime but plan to retire next year and move to Texas to be near friends and family. I am not looking for marriage or a serious relationship, just friends.

Please describe your faith. How important is your faith to you?
My faith has sustained me through tragedy after tragedy.

Which Scripture verses are most important to you?
John 3:16; The 23rd Psalm; Romans 8:28.

Why is a Christian relationship so important to you?
It's good to share the same spiritual beliefs and faith with friends but it's not the only criteria for a friendship.

Where did you grow up? Where have you traveled? What are some of your favorite places to visit?
I grew up in a small town in central Texas and I've traveled a little in different parts of the US. I don't enjoy visiting places as much as I enjoy visiting people. A trip to the island of Nevis in the West Indies was the highlight of my travels. I would love to be able to go back there again.

What are your favorite activities both at Church and outside?
I love the contemporary service my church has every Sunday. I am attending a United Methodist church right now, the church of my childhood. I like to dance and enjoy being outdoors - hiking, picnicking, going to a park and reading or visiting with friends.

What is your day like? Describe your daily routine.
Since I work full-time, most of my week-days are taken up with that activity. Before work, I walk my dog, after work I walk him again. I do some form of exercise nearly every day and go to Curves 3-4 days a week, in addition to walking or exercising at home. I cook something light for dinner or heat up left-overs. I use my grill a lot.

What are some of your personal and spiritual goals?
I am definitely preparing to meet my Maker. As a 63 year old woman, I know my days are numbered. I am blessed to have lived this long -maybe because God just isn't ready to have to deal with me yet! I am a fiesty one! I do not fear death; it is the ultimate adventure.
