I am looking for a companion who has a positive outlook and enjoys life. I would like to be in a relationship with a committed Christian who is honest, caring, and responsible. I am looking for someone who values his relationships with friends and family. I would like to be with someone who has the capacity and commitment to love God, himself and others.

Please describe your faith. How important is your faith to you?
I have a personal relationship with Jesus Christ. I try to cultivate that relationship through prayer and Bible Study. I rely on my faith to get me through the tough times in life. In the past 17 years, I have not known a day without the presence of Christ. I can't imagine going through life with out faith.

Which Scripture verses are most important to you?
I love Proverbs 3:5-6, Philippians 4:6-7, Jeremiah 29:11, Romans 8:28, Psalm 23, and 1 Corinthians 13, to name a few.

Why is a Christian relationship so important to you?
I believe that if both people truely seek God's will, they will survive the challenges of a relationship. It's easy to have a relationship with someone when life is smooth, but so hard when the storms come. I believe that if two people are commited to God's will, they can survive anything by His grace.

Where did you grow up? Where have you traveled? What are some of your favorite places to visit?
I grew up in the Shawnee Mission area. I have traveled to many countries and even lived overseas for a few years. I love to travel most anywhere, but especially like to be near water, whether it is a nearby lake or the ocean.

What are your favorite activities both at Church and outside?
My favorite activity at church is attending the Bible Study that I have been a member of for the past seven years. They are truely my brothers and sisters in Christ. I also enjoy facilitating discussion groups for programs such as Alpha and I have sung in the choir in the past.

What is your day like? Describe your daily routine.
Weekdays, I wake up around 6:30 am and go for a walk, have quiet time, then get ready for work. After work, I have dinner either at home or out with friends, then usually have an activity either at church, with my son or friends. On the weekends, I like to go to the lake or out with friends.

What are some of your personal and spiritual goals?
My main personal goal right now is to adopt a more nutricious eating style and a more consistent exercise routine. Another personal goal is to complete my MBA. Spiritually, I would like to learn more about Christ and be more like him. I realize that goal can never fully be attained, but the closer I get, the better life gets.
