My Ideal Person
I appreciate someone I can talk to and run ideas by; someone willing to express himself with honest, albeit gentle, feedback. I appreciate someone who understands my desire to do my best at my job, and that sometimes I need to spend extra time on a project to make deadline. He's not offended by that because he knows I am able to extend to him that same courteousy. Like me, he realizes that sometimes others also have to focus on what they are called to do. He also understands my desire to spend some time alone with God, and to make time to spend with my two daughters, although they are adults. I appreciate that he is willinging to also spend some time with my family when necessary, just as I am willinging to accompany him to family functions. I also am grateful that I can count on him as he can count on me, and that he doesn't leave me hanging with no explanation.
