My Ideal Person
I'm looking for someone who sees the glass as half full not half empty. This person hopefully can find humor in small as well as big things, and can be comfortable in jeans (going to a movie or sporting event) as well as formal attire (attending theatre or a music performance).
Growing up, it was never a question whether or not our family would be in church on Sunday, and this is still true in my adult life. The person I'm seeking hopefully will also be an active participant in the local church, as well.

Please describe your faith. How important is your faith to you?
Jesus described Peter as 'a rock...and upon this rock I'll build my church..." Jesus is our rock, sturdy and unchanging, having faith in Christ brings comfort and peace during life's trials and struggles. But, He's not only there in the bad times, but is the ultimage source of all that is good.

Which Scripture verses are most important to you?
John 3:16...and Jesus Loves Me is/will always be one of my favorite songs! Mark 10:14 Matthew 28:19-20 I Corintians 13 Jeremiah 29:11-13 Psalm 8 - 9:2 135, 136 138-139 146-150

Why is a Christian relationship so important to you?
For any relationship to really work, Christ must be an active member.

Where did you grow up? Where have you traveled? What are some of your favorite places to visit?
North-east Houston was where I grew up, and graduated from high school. I've had the opportunity to travel some within the united states, and have enjoyed it very much. However, the title of favorite travel destination would be split between Alaska (cruise) and Scotland.

What are your favorite activities both at Church and outside?
My favorite activities tend to revolve around music. I've had the awesome blessing to be part of many different singing groups in my life. Currently, being a part of my church's praise band is definitely a highlight in my life.

What is your day like? Describe your daily routine.
The schedule I keep during the school year is a bit insane. I leave in the morning for school, after school, I have piano lessons (2 1/2 to 4 hours, depending on the day) and then on 2 nights a week I have other rehearsals at church. My place of residence really IS a place to store possessions and receive mail!
