50 year old Woman in Winnsboro, Texas, United States Looking For: Men

Profile for puretxngal
I love the outdoors: hunting, fishing, camping. I love to sing. I"m a single mother of an eleven year old , and am looking for a casual friendship that might lead into something special. I don't play mind games and really and truly don't have the time for someone to play mind games with me. I am down to earth, spontaneous, humorous...I love a good laugh, and I can be sarcastic at times...but it's all in fun...and I do like to play pool. I love to dance...2-steppin' that is. I am family oriented...honest woman with morals. I don't get out that often anymore. All I do these days is work and come home. I drive a truck and have gone back over the road. My world revolves around my and I have to do what I have to do to make ends meet. I'm just a kind hearted country girl just looking for the right man....is he out there anywhere?

My Ideal Person
I would like to find someone that is respectful and honest. Someone with decent morals. Looks aren't as important as personality to me. Someone who has a sense of humor. I would like to find a "good ol' country boy" if that's possible! I would like to find someone that wants to become friends and get to know me and then if from there something long-term comes about, it comes about. I'm not into one night stands or just looking for something "intimate" every now and then. Looking for a friendship that might lead into something more.

Please describe your faith. How important is your faith to you?
I have been off and on the wagon since I was a teenager. I wasn't living the way I know that I should have been living, but I knew that I was doing wrong. At this time in my life, I don't get to go to church like I want to, but I am living closer to the word of God than I have in a long time.

Which Scripture verses are most important to you?
John 3:16

Why is a Christian relationship so important to you?
For one, I could not have a relationship with someone that has different beliefs than me or my family. I have met and still know people that don't believe in God at all. And that just astounds me that someone couldn't believe. How can you not?

Where did you grow up? Where have you traveled? What are some of your favorite places to visit?
I grew up in central Texas out in the middle of nowhere. I was around my grandparents house alot who only lived about 10 miles away. We had cattle, I helped work the cattle, and my grandparents had everything from chickens to pigs to peacocks to cows and horses. They had everything. I have traveled the United States, mainly because of my job. I've gotten to visit Ellis Island, which got me really emotional knowing that my ancestors came thru there and that's where their last name was changed and they got checked out. And at the same time, went over to the Statue of Liberty. It was amazing. And doing what I do, I can't just stop anywhere or drive into a national park somewhere. One of these days, I would love to take an RV and just travel the places that I know of and be a tourist for once.

What are your favorite activities both at Church and outside?
I haven't been able to go to church for a while. I did get to go on Easter, which is something I try to do every year. It's been so long since I was actually active in church. When I was sixteen, I was in the choir and lead singer of the "Heavenbound Gospel Quartet". That's the last major thing I have done in church.

What is your day like? Describe your daily routine.
Just sitting behind the wheel of my truck, rolling down the highway. When I'm home, just relaxing.
