I'm a junior in college, majoring in Family Studies and minoring in Sociology and Women Studies @ WMU. Most of my friends would say I have a held back personality. My philosophy on life is the golden rule and to try your very best in EVERY thing you do. I love God and believe he has a purpose for everything and outcome in this world. On a date, I find it hard to keep eye contact, I'm vulnerable to and in conversations, I expect that you remember that I'm a lady without being too proper, I will smile a lot, will be more amused with you more than I might put off, and if you gain my trust I'll most likely let you in (emotionally). The type of things I do in my spare time are building my relationships with friends (hanging out), watching a few select t.v. shows, working, cleaning, shopping, planning events/my future, etc. I typically practice my faith by praying, living according to my beliefs, and attending church whenever I'm home from school. Where I live (Livonia) is very important to me and while explaining my upbringing. I am not willing to travel or move for the right person ... at this point in my life. Money and career are very important to me, to an extent. One of the more interesting things I've done in my life is cliff diving, rock climbing, and being there for friends during desperate times.

My Ideal Person
I'm pretty bored around these parts (kzoo) wishing to meet someone that is a little bit off the beaten path of college life. I'm looking for someone who wants to take it slow while building trust and not playing games while developing a relationship.
I like going out on dates even though I stress about them and meeting new people, but my real reason for being on the site is to establish a serious, long-term relationship, and I'm looking for someone with the same goal.
When it comes to physical health, I exercise rarely and expect my potential mates to be a tad bit more active than myself. I like my dates to be assertive in decisions. I want children a few years after I marry. I like my date to be a cultured, adventurous, old fashioned, yet modern person. The people I tend to be attracted to are goal oriented, aggressive and humorous. I know there's chemistry between my date and I if we can joke around a lot and be sarcastic.
