My Ideal Person
I would like a mature stable christian. Someone who is a good communicator, patient, caring, honest, faithful, and a man of integrity.

I look at a man's character more than his income or physical appearance. It would be nice to have a man who's kids are already raised (at least over 16 yrs of age)even if they do not live with them. No recently divorced or seperated men please. It takes time to heal.

My idea of the perfect man is someone I can depend on for prayer, who will encourage me daily, listen to me when I have a not-so-great-day and give me lots of hugs. Someone who is not selfish. Someone who will remind me to slow down and enjoy today.

And when God sees fit to put me with the right marriage partner, that's wonderful because 2 people who love God in relationship can do some pretty powerful stuff for God and for others. One can put 1000 to flight, 2 can put 10,000.

Please describe your faith. How important is your faith to you?
I've been sold out for God since 28 yrs old. I strive to make sure that my work, personal life, & goal setting is fulfilling HIS purpose for my life. In my 30's I completed the 4-yr inductive bible study method in 9 months because I was so obsessed with the Word.

Which Scripture verses are most important to you?
God brings out certain scriptures for me to meditate on in different seasons of my life. Right now I'm really stuck on Psalm 91 and am memorizing the whole chapter. Given the condition of our world, living and breathing this particular Psalm is vital for our divine protection.

Why is a Christian relationship so important to you?
Only a Christian relationship has the capacity to recieve and give unconditional LOVE. Also, there is power in a marriage put together by God. Power to overcome all the obstacles TOGETHER.

Where did you grow up? Where have you traveled? What are some of your favorite places to visit?
I was born in McAllen, Texas. Moved to Houston straight out of high school. In my 30's I spent 5 years travelling full-time with an organization called Youth With A Mission - an interdenominational missionary volunteer group. I lived in China & Hong Kong for 1 1/2 yrs. Jamaica for 2 yrs, then trips to Cuba, Columbia, Belize, etc. mainly involved in discipling the youth. As far as vacationing I've been on a Mediterranean Cruise -I love Venice & Greece. Also have been to London, Paris, Switzerland, Amsterdam... can you tell I love to travel?

What are your favorite activities both at Church and outside?
I like organizing dramas & helping teenagers choreograph christian hip-hop dances to reach their own age-group. I love the beach, I love sailing. I just bought a 30-ft sailboat but I've only gotten to take it out a couple of times before the motor busted... so need help!

What is your day like? Describe your daily routine.
Quiet time with God in AM. Some weeks I work M-F. Other weeks I work on week-ends, depending on when I have to meet with clients. When I'm not working I'm writing or hanging out with friends/family.

What are some of your personal and spiritual goals?
Gosh, tons of goals... don't even know where to start. I want to hear the goals my man has first so I can get behind him in helping him to reach them. There is one thing that I have a desire for >>> 1 Cor 14:1 says to earnestly desire spiritual gifts, especially that you may prophecy. Continuing to increase in my gift of prophecy will always be my lifelong goal.
