80 year old Woman in Stoddard, New Hampshire, United States Looking For: Men

Profile for Pomegranate
Would like to meet a committed Christian man. Someone who loves the Lord and Life and Laughter. // My friends would say that I have a great sense of humor. My Pastor's wife thinks that I am a "hoot". I am a committed Christian lady who loves the Lord and I work at a place where both of my employers and myself can witness boldly to our customers as the Lord leads. I am not a stuffed shirt, can't stand people who are. I enjoy the simple, homebody things in life. I own my own home.......kind of a Daniel Boone/Henry David Thoreau cape......barebones and simple, but it gets the job done. When I first moved in, it had a composting toilet, and I had to fetch water from the well and carry it inside to large barrels. When water was "called for" from the sinks or the tub, the pump would draw the water from the barrels. When you have to carry water in, you learn how to ration water and your showers last only 3 minutes!!!!!!! It was an experience and one that my father would say was character building. I now have the well connected to the house and have a septic and real flush toilet.......whahoo!!!!!!! Modern conveniences.......can't say enough about them. I am always in the process of adding loving touches to my home as she was a Gift from the Lord. I love spending time with my family and my Church family. Love the small Bible study that we have going on Wednesday nights at different homes and the open discussions, opinions and insights of everyone there. Have recently joined up with another local group to take part in the 40 Days of Purpose study. In my spare time, I enjoy reading, gardening, quilting, yard sales, and creating fiber art wallhangings. I would LOVE to learn fly fishing and welding. Kind of an odd combination.......but they are not meant to be combined. LOL. Fly fishing for fun and relaxation and welding for art and relaxation. Used to do a lot of fishing with my Dad when I was young.......mostly bass fishing. Have always had the inclination to pick it up again, but haven't found the right partner to enjoy it with. Yard sales are my Saturday morning form of entertainment and I purchase most everything that I need either here or at Wally World. I can't remember when the last time I was in a Mall. I don't have a TV, but when I am at friends' homes, the sports that I enjoy watching are baseball and hockey. Cooking is both a hobby and an enjoyable experience. I love it when my kitchen dances with the aromas of several foods cooking at the same time. At the Lord's prompting, I prepare meals and bring them to people in need in our Church and community, which is at least once a week.....sometimes 2-3. I also use it as a time for visitation and fellowship. We all have a grand time, eating, laughing and sometimes playing board games after the meal. It has proven to be a very fruitful ministry.

My Ideal Person
Looking for a non-smoking man who has dedicated his life to the Lord and who has the disposition of the character Hoss Cartwright.......someone who has the ability to listen to heart songs (like Boaz) for a LTR and marriage and does not possess any passive/aggressive tendencies. Someone who is sensitive and caring and knows how to treat a woman with affection, respect, kindness and honor. And definitely someone who makes me laugh!!!!!!! Not interested in any Chief-Rain-in-the-Faces. Not interested in keeping up with the Jones' or putting on aires or pretentions. Keep it clean and simple.
