My Ideal Person
I would like to find a friend who "tells it like it is"; who loves the Lord, people and nature. I would like to enjoy the outdoors, animals and road trips with someone who has a sense of adventure and a sense of humor. Each day is new adventure and the more adventure the better. I am a glass half full person and look for the best in people.

Please describe your faith. How important is your faith to you?
I was radically saved and I do not believe I would be alive today without Jesus. I owe my life to Him and love to tell others what He can do in their life.

Which Scripture verses are most important to you?
James 1:2-4 Count it all joy when you fall into various trials, knowing that the testing of your faith produces patience. But let patience have its perfect work, that you may be perfect and complete, lacking nothing.

Why is a Christian relationship so important to you?
I cannot trust a man to lead my life that is not following God. I do not trust people but I trust what God can do with people.

Where did you grow up? Where have you traveled? What are some of your favorite places to visit?
I grew up in Oregon and Washington. I have traveled all through Maine, New Hampshire and Vermont. I have been to Colorado, Canada, North Carolina, the Outer Banks, California, Idaho, New York and across country three times. My dream is to camp in Alaska.

What are your favorite activities both at Church and outside?
Hiking and Kayaking with the Appalachian Mt. Club. I enjoy a very active small group at Church. I belong to a bike group.

What is your day like? Describe your daily routine.
I get up at 6:00 on a work day or 7:00 on the weekends; eat a healthy breakfast; read the Bible and the paper; read my e-mails; work; serve at church two nights per week in different capacities; read; work on entrapreneurial ideas; babysit my grandchildren; visit my children;enjoy dinner and a movie with my girlfriends about once every two months; watch a DVD once or twice a week; watch about 1 hour of TV at the most; go to bed at 10:00 or 10:30 and dream.

What are some of your personal and spiritual goals?
I want to be the healthiest person I can be each day, both mentally and physically. I want to spread the gospel whenever God gives me the chance. I want to grown in being able to serve effectively.I want to be a blessing to people who are involved in my life. I want to leave the world a better place for having been here.
