My Ideal Person
I would like someone who sees Jesus as his friend and guide. Someone who appreciates romance, affectionate in private. He's not affraid to express emotion, but doesn't want to share what's in his heart with just anyone. I want someone who doesn't view life as a competition, but enjoys life. Someone who is honest, and can be relied upon.

Please describe your faith. How important is your faith to you?
Jesus is my Saviour and my best friend. Without my faith I wouldn't have made thus far. He is my reason for who and what I am.

Which Scripture verses are most important to you?
In all ways acknowledge him and He shall direct your path. Who can find a virtuous woman? for her price [is] far above rubies.

Why is a Christian relationship so important to you?
Without a christian partner and God in the center of your relationship you don't have much of a chance for you both to make it.

Where did you grow up? Where have you traveled? What are some of your favorite places to visit?
I grew up in Michigan. I've lived in Las Vegas, Washington DC, Kansas City, MO, Indiana, and St. Louis, MO. My very favorite place where I live is Colorado. I lived there for a total of 16 years and miss it dearly. Being in the mountains of Colorado is like a little piece of Heaven. I would love to visit Scotland and Ireland.

What are your favorite activities both at Church and outside?
I love to go horseback riding (haven't in a while though) and I also like to hike (walk) and go camping. I use to do some 4-season camping.

What is your day like? Describe your daily routine.
I wake up around 6:00 am to be at work at 7:30 am. After work I come home and then go out to walk or go to the gym with my daughter. Come home and read or watch a little tv and then off to bed for me. Sometimes during the week I go to a play with my cousin. On Saturdays I sleep in and Sundays, I go to church and spend the afternoon relaxing.

What are some of your personal and spiritual goals?
I'm reading a new book "Captivating" Unveiling the Mystery of a Woman's Soul. An excerpt: "The desires you had as a little girl and the longings you still feel as a woman--they are telling you of the life God created you to live. He offers to come now as the Hero of your story, to rescue your heart and release you to live as a fully alive and feminine woman. A woman who is truly captivating. That is what I want to be in and for God.
