My Ideal Person
I'm looking for a mainline Christian man who treats me as an equal, has a positive attitude toward life, and will be respectful and honest. I'm tired of sites where men are afraid to admit that they are a Christian.

Please describe your faith. How important is your faith to you?
My Christian faith and commitment to God is the one thing that is certain in an uncertain world. It's seen me through a divorce, health problems, and stays with me daily in whatever I may face. I begin each day with devotions and end each night with devotions.

Which Scripture verses are most important to you?
I like Psalm 23, I Corinthians 13, and the Ecclesiates 3. Ihe book of Ruth is also a favorite with me as I see it as one of the books about love between a mother and a daughter-in-law.

Why is a Christian relationship so important to you?
I have lived a Christian life for many years and feel I need a relationship where someone has experienced this also. Doubts are okay because this is the way we grow. We become more mature Christians as we live through struggles and hardships. The world is watching us in our Christian lives.

Where did you grow up? Where have you traveled? What are some of your favorite places to visit?
I grew up in Ft. Wayne, In I have also lived in Ky, Va. West Va. and Oh. I've traveled mainly through the Midwest. I have a twin brother in Fl that I like to visit.

What are your favorite activities both at Church and outside?
I attend Church regularly, am involved in Bible study. and am an ordained Elder and Deacon in the Presbyterian Church. I especially like the fellowship I experience in the Body of Christ.

What is your day like? Describe your daily routine.
I'm a retired teacher. Some days are strutchered and others spontanious. I belong to other activites outside the church. My family, a daughter and son, both married and two grandsons are most important to me. I have many friends, but also enjoy time alone.

What are some of your personal and spiritual goals?
I realize that I'm not perfect in any way, so I strive daily to serve God and the Holy Spirit as I'm led. I know also that I will never understand all of the Bible. I don't worship the Bible, but the God revealed to me in Jesus Christ.
