BBW Hispanic Woman, divorced for 2 years but lost to God for a lot longer than that. I have recently discovered how much I miss His presence in my life and I am working my way back to him.
My Ideal Person
I would love to find someone with an open heart and mind, who is secure in his faith . Someone who likes to laugh but not at someone else's expense. Someone that can guide me when I need it and let me stumble when I need a reminder to be humble. I want someone that will be proud to walk beside me as I would be to walk beside him.

Please describe your faith. How important is your faith to you?
I have been out of the church for many years. I am in the process of walking the path back to God.
Which Scripture verses are most important to you?
There are so many but I think 1st Corinthians 13 is excellent.
Why is a Christian relationship so important to you?
I think in order to be right with your family, your friends, your work, etc., you have to be right with God first. Nothing else is more important than that.
Where did you grow up? Where have you traveled? What are some of your favorite places to visit?
I was born in California. We moved to Mexico when I was a year old and lived there for 2 years. Then we moved to Brownsville, TX. My parents moved us to Houston when I was 8 and I lived here for 22 years before I moved to Las Vegas, NV with my husband. I just moved back to Houston about 6 months ago. My favorite place to go is Lake Tahoe. What a beautiful place.
What are your favorite activities both at Church and outside?
I have not found a church to belong to yet. I spend a lot of time with my family. I do occasionally go out to a night club with a couple of girlfriends. Since I don't drink, I am always the designated driver. Or I may take my neices and nephew to the movies. Pretty dull, huh?
What is your day like? Describe your daily routine.
I get up in the morning, take my dog outside. Come in about 20 minutes later and hop in the shower. After the shower, I wrap my hair in a towel and put on my make up and get dressed for work. Last I dry my hair and head out the door. I get to work, sort everything that arrived in my IN box overnight and file each item in its proper place. Once that is out of the way, I get to sit around and talk to people. At the end of the day, I shut everything down and head home. I go next door and check on my mother and my uncle. Make supper if necessary, clean up the kitchen, and get my uncle anything he might need before he goes to bed. I gather my dog and head home. I relax for a few minutes and usually fall asleep between midnight and 1am every night.
What are some of your personal and spiritual goals?
At the moment, I don't have any set goals. I am going to find a church to attend and then I will see where I am needed most.
