I am a pretty stubborn gal, and I tend to be pretty strong-headed and vocal about my opinions. Right now I'm working on learning to listen more. :) I'm also pretty silly. I love to laugh at the everyday goings-on of life. I'm pretty girlie, but I do enjoy the occasional beer and I can definitely hold my own in a conversation about football. I am a Baptist and I am a Calvinist, currently a member of a Presbyterian (PCA) church. I am still looking for a local church to become a part of. I haven't been in Dallas long enough to really find my niche just yet. I really enjoy hanging out at the South on Lamar at Standard & Pours, especially when there's good music. I'm still working on finding that perfect little dive bar, though.
My Ideal Person
I would like to share my love of all things music with my partner, which most definitely includes an unhealthy addiction to iTunes and coffeehouses. My ideal partner, first and foremost, would share my theological beliefs, and would be prepared to be a spiritual leader. I appreciate a manly man who loves his football and the occasional car-maintenance, but who can decently communicate. Essentially, I am attracted to one who can/will take on traditional gender rolls. More than anything, and I want to be clear-- I love Jesus and I don't think I could relate to anyone who doesn't put Him first (even above me). My faith consumes so much of my life and my way of thinking, that it would be impossible to just list 'Christianity' on my list of interests. It really is who I am, and who I seek to be on a day to day basis, and I need to share that with whomever I am dating/in a relationship with.

Please describe your faith. How important is your faith to you?
Again, I cannot go into enough detail to explain my faith on paper. I think that Jesus loves me so much more than I am capable of loving Him, and if for nothing else, that is just how important my faith is.
Which Scripture verses are most important to you?
Romans 11 is probably my favorite chapter in all the Bible-- for to me it reveals that there is true purpose in my life, even though I don't always get it.
