What makes me - me......sometimes complex, sometimes simple, always easy going and relaxed, not at all up tight. I'm very affectionate. I love to have fun and laugh. I love a great sense of humor and a dry wit. I am intelligent, compassionate, passionate about what I believe in, but respect others opinions, responsible, dedicated, devoted to my family - 4 grown married and 7 grandchildren - 6 boys and 1girl. I'm crazy about my grandkids and love to be around them and play with them whenever I get the chance. Two live in Maine with 3 of my grandchildren and I try to get up there every year for a Nana visit and get my hug tank filled enough to last me a while. I like to learn new things. I love to travel though haven't done a lot of it. I enjoy walking, would love to learn how to ride a motorcycle someday, whenever opportunity knocks. I'm just as satisfied at home doodling around as I am going out on the town. I love to cook, sometimes. I love to go to the movies and out to dinner, etc., etc. I was married for 30 years until the sudden passing of my husband. Suddenly I have to redefine who I am again apart from him and it's got it's ups and downs, but mostly ups. I've found that God can bring me through anything in spite of my lack of cooperation! I've been a busy working mom for most of the last 40 years. I'm still working and enjoying it. I've held a few officer positions in some volunteer and church organizations. I've participated in some fund raising activities for some school scholarship funds and high school senior class trip fundraisers. I've done a 5 K walk to raise money for MS. I traveled to Alaska on a short term mission trip to work on a dormitory at a Christian college for the native Americans there - I got to taste whale! Eeeeeuuuuu, not my cup of tea. I worked in the production office for the making of the "Dukes of Hazzard" movie in Baton Rouge, LA and got to get my picture made with Willie Nelson and Burt Reynolds! Fun.
