Looking for a fun, respectable man who can still have fun, yet be serious, as the situation dictates // I grew up in mid-Missouri and attended college in MO and transferred to TX, where I got my degree in Graphic Arts. I married a man from south TX and divorced 7 years later. (it probably would have been sooner had he not been in the service and we were separated for long periods of time.) I love making things, although lately have just worried about "practical" things as opposed to creative things. I would like to find someone with whom I can spend time and both of us be happy no matter where we are, and would be a good role model as a father.
My Ideal Person
Although I attend church at least twice a week, I don't feel "saved." or "born again." I'm ashamed to admit it, but some days I just feel less of a connection than on other days. I think if I had a Christian partner, that might be more of an influence on me than going to church and reading the Bible or Christian literature does. I'm not saying I would automatically turn Christian as soon as I started dating one, but I think it would keep my mind more on that tract and influence me more positively and I would really appreciate any help I could get. I'm looking for someone who is confident, yet not cocky or judgemental, and can be authoritative without being "bossy."
