I was raised Methodist but basically consider myself a practicing Christian. I never thought I'd be single in my mid 30's, but know that God does have a plan for my life. (I just have to be patient!). I work with students at a university and spend most of my work hours helping people. I also love to do "random acts of kindness" for friends I know that need a special lift or for strangers who somehow present themselves in my life. I believe that it is often the small gestures that often make the biggest difference. In my spare time, I love to make crafts and work on sewing projects. I tend to be pretty creative and often lose track of time when working on projects. I also like to go on long walks and exercise when I can. I'm not a big reader in general, but I do like books by Max Lucado and try to read the Bible on a regular basis. I also like Movies and TV shows, especially those based on true stories.

My Ideal Person
I am looking for a man that has a strong relationship with God and wants to build a relationship with God in the middle. People often say "it takes two to make a relationship work." I think it takes three!

Honesty is very important to me as is a caring and generous heart. I would love to have children, so I'd like to find a guy that likes kids and views parenting as the most important job. I also think sense of humor is very important. I'd like a guy that can make me laugh, but also make my heart melt with just one look.
