I desire to have my Father's eyes. I aspire to have the grace and beauty of Esther. // I find it challenging to describe myself without sounding cliche' or giving the impression I am "super woman".
I love life. I love the Lord. Each morning I spend time in meditation with Him and in writing my "Morning Pages", which are my notes to God. This time is vital to the outcome of my day. I "won't leave home without Him". I believe God has blessed me with wonderful gifts. I'm classy, sassy, feminine, affectionate, playful, witty, light-hearted, intelligent, articulate, vivacious, friendly, compassionate, acutely sensitive to other's needs. I am addicted to deep, soul-searching conversations. I have learned, over the years, how to quiet my thoughts and be a good listener.
I have found this to be a gift I not only give to the person with whom I am conversing, but a gift I give myself. (If you have never tried being a good listener, I guarantee you will understand what I mean if you give it a try.)
I love words. I believe each person's birthday is their own special holiday to be fully celebrated for being given another year of life. I love my family. I love my friends.I love my pets. I do not aspire to have glitz, glamor, fame and/or fortune. Success to me is defined by how I live my life and not by the prestige or salary of a job. Professional football is my sport of choice. I am creative and have even found a way to enjoy paying bills. (Bet I got your attention on that one!)
I don't believe in coincidences. I believe there are only "Celestine moments". I believe the 10 Commandments are law. My favorite Book in the Bible is Esther. I believe I am on a special journey with God as my guide. I am a hopeless romantic. Morning is my favorite time of the day when it is quiet and peaceful, and when I feel the closest to God.
I don't like people who have only one-sided conversations. I abhor laziness, sloppiness, dishonesty and people who do not take care of what God has given them.
I live a comfortable life style. I look forward to being in my charming, warm and cozy Suburban home after spending a day in a job I enjoy and find fulfilling. (I am blessed to work for my church.) Above all of my attributes, quirks and idiosyncrasies, I know I am God's .
My Ideal Person
A spiritual relationship with our Lord and Savior is paramount. A person who enjoys life and looks for the good in people is a remarkable quality to own. Honest, compassionate, romantic and down-to-earth are attributes I admire. Integrity is of the upmost importance. I eat healthy (yet, not fanatical); exercise and take very good care of myself; thus, I am looking for a partner who values maintaining their health, appearance and well-being as much as I do (without being obsessive about it). Intelligence is essential. I desire to be with a man who has an insatiable appetite for knowledge and expanding his mind. I want someone with whom I can laugh and be playful and affectionate. Basically, a gentleman with a good heart, who isn't stuffy, is what I desire. A man who defines success by how he lives his life and not by his career.
