As trite as it may sound, I don't think much about me is ordinary, excepting my love of pink and a penchant for coffee. If you enjoy spending time with a woman who will make you think, and share with you the exciting opportunities life presents, you should know that I don't spend much time on the bench. I prefer to create my adventure, as opposed to watching it from the sofa or reading it in a paperbook. I have so much life to live, and finally believe that I am ready to fulfill the partner role that deserves the health and preparation that caring for one's heart requires.
I'm not looking for anyone to complete me, or make me happy, nor do I want to meet those obligations for another.
If you're looking for a woman who will follow without inquiring of the destination, a vanilla-flavored personality without any real opinions, you should pass on by. I'm curious, playful, and try to live with purposeful intention. I consider how my actions affect others, and value that quality in others.
I'm looking for a partner who will challenge, teach, and share adventures with me. I like asking why, even when the questions don't have answers. Please don't mistake any of that for impertinance or arrogance, but rather a soft-hearted girl who is always up for something other than the mind-numbing fodder that almost everyone else seems to be rather content with (not that there's anything wrong with that...).
I'm 5'7" and in good physical fitness, and have a rather feminine appearance and shape. While I enjoy the occasion to dress up, I am both content and attractive in jeans and free of cosmetic accoutrements. I have long curly hair, blue eyes and usually sporting a grin (often of the cheshire variety).
My Ideal Person
A Christian with a committment to live a life that honors Christ is most important; Bible-based values are my compass, and it's important we share those absolutes. Age isn't that important to me, but I have found that I am not a good fit for those guys who have children (not because I don't love children, but simply because the inherent difficulties that are present in such a dynamic). The primary exception to this rule would be widowed gentlemen.
Other important qualities include reasonable health, including a desire to maintain one's health and fitness (not looking for a gymrat, but someone who doesn't eat fast food everyday and resemble the label "couch potato"), ability and desire to be an adequate communicator, free of addictive behavior (recovered addicts committed to recovery are ok), and a great sense of humor.
I have a sensitive, loving heart and find it nearly impossible to hold a grudge longer than five minutes. Kind, polite, and considerate types will mesh much better with me than someone who is often brash. He should be able to hold his temper and deal with conflict in a productive manner.
