I am a 23 year old college student, not long confined to the hallowed halls of study. I intend on graduating in December at the end of this semester. I am an English Literature major, and love books, reading and writing fiction. I'm pretty conservative in my views; both political and religious. You can ask me more later. I love to watch movies, and am currently looking forward to the relase of two movies; Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire, and The Chronicles of Narnia: The Lion the Witch and the Wardrobe. Some of my favorite authors are: Garth Nix, Robin McKinley, Patricia McKillip, Anne McCaffrey, Jane Austen, Charlotte Bronte, Grace Livingston Hill, Louis L'Amour, J.R.R. Tolkien, C.S. Lewis, L.M. Montgomery....I could probably go on... I am a big fan of the Lord of the Rings movies, and books....and I love corny superhero movies (such as "the phantom" which came out in 1991, or Mystery Men). I like a very ecclectic variety of music. I like everything from classical, to Opera, to heavy metal, to enya, to traditional Irish, to I don't know what all else. The only music I don't really like is most country, and easy listening/soft rock. I've worked at a Christian Summer camp for the last three summers, and love camping, being with , working with , and the fellowship that you get from working in that kind of environment. I wish I could continue in that vein, but we'll see what the Lord wants me to do with my life. Ummm....if you want to know anything else you can just ask me.

My Ideal Person
I want someone who is willing to get to know my first. I firmly believe that all romantic relationships should be built on friendship. I am looking for a guy who has a great sense of humor (even corney humor)...I need someone who is willing to be patient with me, as I have some things that I still need to overcome. I'd like to be able to say that physical appearance isn't important, but everyone would know that is a lie. It is to a degree. I have been on the blind date from hell, where the guy was incredibly scary looking, and so I have to say that it is important, but only to a point.
Having a career, or a direction in life is a plus, but as I'm no where near figuring out where I'm going with my life, you don't have to have it all together either. I love just hanging out, and joking around, so if this sounds like someone you want to get to know, let me know.
