Widow with quiet, uneventful life seeks widower for companionship and a little "spice" in her life. // I am a widow, 70 years old, 5'4", desiring to meet a gentleman, a widower, for companionship. He should be at least 5'7" and be retired or semi-retired. He must be a Christian, a believer in salvation through the Lord Jesus Christ. I was church secretary for my church for 23 years but am now retired. Church attendance plays an important part in my life; I would like to meet someone with similar interests and values. I like a quiet evening at home as well as going on outings and visiting with friends or family. I enjoy eating out, attending concerts, going for drives in the country, to the mountains, to the ocean. I also enjoy reading, jigsaw puzzles, traveling, music, and doing volunteer work for Christian organizations.

My Ideal Person
I would like to meet a gentleman, a widower, at least 5'7", 67 to 73 years old, retired or semi-retired. He must be a Christian, a believer in salvation through the Lord Jesus Christ. I would like to meet someone with similar interests and values in church attendance and in the Lord's work. I would also like someone with enough interests in common so we can share and do a lot of things together.

Please describe your faith. How important is your faith to you?
My faith takes top priority in my life. If it wasn't for my strong faith in the Lord Jesus Christ, I don't know how I would have been able to get through a number of losses and crises in my life.

Which Scripture verses are most important to you?
There are many....some of my current favorites are: Ps. 32:8; Prov.19:21; Ps. 33:22; Ps. 25:4,5; Jer. 29:11

Why is a Christian relationship so important to you?
A Christian relationship is the only kind I could even consider (with a gentleman). It is so important to have a strong faith in the Lord Jesus Christ in common.

Where did you grow up? Where have you traveled? What are some of your favorite places to visit?
I was born in Los Angeles, CA. I grew up in Connecticut, Michigan, Illinois, California, and Washington state. I have traveled all over the United States (including Hawaii), British Columbia, and went with a tour group to Egypt, Jordan, and Israel in 2006. My current favorite place to visit is Fairbanks, Alaska, where my daughter, son-in-law, and grandson live.

What are your favorite activities both at Church and outside?
At church: Sunday morning worship services, women's ministries activities, volunteering in the church office where I used to be the secretary. Outside of church: Being taken to scenic areas to see the beauty of God's creation.

What is your day like? Describe your daily routine.
Since I'm retired, I lead a very relaxed life. Over breakfast, I have my devotional time with the Lord. I am a morning person so that is when I do most of my activites such as errands, shopping, appointments, volunteer work. For relaxation afternoons and/or evenings I read, nap, work on jigsaw puzzles, watch news, correspond with email friends.

What are some of your personal and spiritual goals?
Just to live a life pleasing to the Lord....to be open to His guidance in my life. To grow to be more like Jesus.
