Hello! I love God and intend to put Christ first in my life and relationships. I've been described as guileless, independent, smart, logical, funny, a laid-back overachiever, a definite INTJ, and "just weird." I enjoy cooking, canoeing, gardening, animals, camping, science, and folk arts. The works of CS Lewis and Rich Mullins resonate strongly with me. God has gifted me with discernment and a love for His Word. I love where I live and have a solid job, but have a strong desire to share my life with someone and to start a family.
My Ideal Person
A man strong in his faith, his love and his character. Hopefully he'll like chickens.

Please describe your faith. How important is your faith to you?
Christ is the most important factor in my life. He is my Savior and Lord, as well as friend, teacher and guide.
Which Scripture verses are most important to you?
I have a passion for Scripture, both old and new Testaments. All Scripture is amazing. Particular verses stand out as they apply to particular circumstances or phases of life.
Why is a Christian relationship so important to you?
I think a truely deep, understanding relationship is only possible between fellow Christ-followers. You are a new creation, with a new set of priorities. While I may meet and rejoice in many wonderful, caring, entertaining, loyal, moral, facinating people who aren't believers, there'll always be a fundamental differentness, a huge gulf between us. I want to spend my life with someone who's being molded into His Likeness as I am.
Where did you grow up? Where have you traveled? What are some of your favorite places to visit?
I grew up on a quasi-ranch in northen California. I haven't traveled a lot, but very much enjoy it. I love places with a lot of natural beauty and grandeur. My last two trips were to Kauai and Glacier National Park. Wow.
What are your favorite activities both at Church and outside?
I much prefer outdoor activities to church functions! I love kayaking, hiking, and playing with my chickens.
