Mi persona ideal:
The paramount thing I look for in a partner is the quality of his relationship with God. I want a partner who will actually put God first and me second -- because I know that if God is first in my partner's life, I will have no worries or complaints about how he treats me.

Of course, two people always have to feel some kind of "chemistry," some physical attraction. I can vouch from personal experience that beauty truly is in the eye of the beholder. And I find that one of the things that makes me most physically attracted to a person is the way he thinks of me and treats me. I can tell when someone is asking a personal question to really find out more about me and when they are asking for some other reason. And when I get the sense that the person actually cares about me and would look out for me, I am totally engaged with them and we usually have a wonderful time together. When I care about someone, I am always trying to consider their best interests, as well.

I am a highly independent person, so any partner of mine would probably have to be pretty independent as well -- only because I would not want him to feel hurt or slighted if we do not spend every waking minute together. However, the benefit of HAVING ME as a partner is that I am very generous and understanding when it comes to the need for personal space.
