I am happy and contented with my life. It is full and active, and I keep busy working and learning. But, if the Lord wants to help me find a good Christian man to spend the rest of my life with I wouldn't complain. It would be great to meet someone with whom I could be good friends, with the possibility that friendship might become something more.
My Ideal Person
I would like a man who has a committed relationship with Jesus and wants to build a relationship with a woman based on Christian principles. This means honoring and loving the woman in his life as Christ loves his church.

Please describe your faith. How important is your faith to you?
I look at God as my loving Father who wants only the best for me. I totally trust him, but on occasion find myself trying to take back control of my life. I struggle to continue to allow Him to have complete control, but I think that is a lifelong struggle that many of us have.
Which Scripture verses are most important to you?
Isiah 40:28-31
....but those who hope in the LORD will renew their strength. They will soar on wings like eagles; they will run and not grow weary,
they will walk and not be faint.
Why is a Christian relationship so important to you?
I have had 2 marriages and a couple of serious relationships and have done what "I" wanted instead of asking God what he wanted for me. If I ever get involved in another serious relationship I want to be sure I am doing it "God's way" this time.
Where did you grow up? Where have you traveled? What are some of your favorite places to visit?
Michigan, moved to souther California in junior high, moved to Alaska 15 years ago.
Have traveled across the US between Michigan and California numerous times as a child, once to the east cost (New York, DC, New England). Have never been in the south. There are so many beautiful places in our wonderful country, some I've seen, some I haven't. It would be fun to travel the US in a motorhome. But I would also like to see other parts of the world. I would especially like to see the ruins in Mexico, South America and Egypt. Really anywhere would be great.
What are your favorite activities both at Church and outside?
At church I haven't been much invoved other than services. I was in a singles group a few years back, but don't necessarily like being put in a "singles group" as I like a mix of people and ages (couples and singles) to socialize. Would like to see groups based on interests. I'm thinking about volunteering at Bean's Cafe soon.
Outside of church I love to dance and sing. I love to get out of town, camping and fishing.
What is your day like? Describe your daily routine.
Up around 7-7:30, go to work around 8:30-9:00 am. May have client appointments throughout the day, but also have staff who does some of the appointments. Check e-mails, check and make phone calls, pay bills, deal with computer problems (I'm the IT person at our business). Work with my daughter to try to figure out ways to promote and grow our business. May run out to the bank or other errands. Lunch around 12:30 to 1:30. Leave work around 5 pm. Get home, have dinner, listen to the news, check e-mail, perhaps do some work brought home. Clean up house, do chores. Get to bed usually between 11:30 to 12:30
What are some of your personal and spiritual goals?
Personal - lose weight and get in better shape. I am healthy, but know if I don't get somne weight off I could have health challenges.
Spiritual - read my Bible more and pray more. Learn to rely on God more to sustain me, instead of myself. I kind of like to be in control.
